The Trio approached Spencer's house to see that Jordan's car was parked right outside. Spencer turned to Hope with his eyebrows furred seeing if Hope knew anything about this. Hope just shrugged in response not knowing what Jordan's intentions were

Look like he bastardizing them poor greens is what it looks like.

You never been in a kitchen before? Jordan was sweet enough to help me out while he waited on you.

"I don't know that "help" would be the word I would use," Dillan said

"OK, everybody's got jokes today, huh?"Jordan said tickling Dillian

"Hope baby why don't you help me in the kitchen? We have a lot of catching up to do."Ms.James said

"Yeah, of course, Hope said following Ms.James into the kitchen."

Once Hope and Ms.James fully entered the kitchen Spencer took the opportunity to confront Jordan on why he was here.

" Why are you here?"Spencer said annoyed.

"To talk about the team," Jordan replied.

"No, man, now is not a good time," Spencer said getting more agitated by the minute

"Look, we don't stand a chance this season unless we all work together. Or do you not care about winning anymore? "Jordan said

"Look, I'll play, I'll practice, and I'll damn sure do my part on the field," Spencer said

"But nothing more? Jordan said now getting annoyed

"I came to Beverly to play football, not force myself into fake friendships with folks who want nothing to do with me," Spencer said now wanting to rip out Jordan's throat

"Fake friendships? I welcomed you into my home."Jordan said now getting agitated

"All right, look, no shade. You cool. But if we're being honest, you don't know anything about me, dawg, or where I'm from."Spencer said knowing that Jordan could never relate

"You know what? I'm here now. Let's fix that."Jordan said cockily

"Nah, Nah. Look, I got plans, I got friends coming over."Spencer said

"I know, yeah, your mom already said I could stay for the cookout. And you know, Spence, I can't think of a better way to get to know you and Crenshaw."Jordan said with a smirk on his face

" Hey, Jordan," Spencer said not playing around

"Can you? Jordan."Jordan said entering the kitchen

"Jordan, I ain't playing.Jordan."Spencer said as Jordan was entering the kitchen while Spencer's mom was exiting it

"You want to tell me what's going on? It's gonna be one long-ass day."Spencer's mom said

"It's gonna be a long-ass day," Spencer said

Jordan full emerged in the kitchen see's Hope to stir a pot of mac n cheese; Hope looked over her shoulder seeing Jordan behind her.

"So Mr. Beverly why you Crenshaw, "Hope said crossing her arms over her shoulders.

"Couldn't I stop by to see you, "Jordan said going over to hug Hope but got rejected by Hope stopping him.

"Nuh-uh boy, you always have a motive, "Hope said

"No, I don't," Jordan smirked

"Mhmm," Hope said grabbing some rags carrying the bucket of Mac n cheese bringing it out to the cookout.
