Yangyang

The wind blew,pushing away the curtains to the side to show the blue hues of the bright sky in an effort to lighten up the gloomy students,but no one looked expect for me and you.

You turned your head to the direction of the window to briefly admire the world outside before looking at me and then looking away.

The moment our eyes met my world became so much brighter.
It was only a quick glance but that alone was enough to make my whole day.

"Yangyang,Yangyang!"the teacher shouted.

The sudden change in his voice broke through the quiet atmosphere and brought me back to my senses.

"Y-yes." I stuttered.

"Can you come up and solve this question in front of the class please?"he asked with a stern face.

"Yes sir."

"Sir I will do it for him."you said and stood up from your chair and began walking towards the board to solve the question for me.

I sat on my seat stunned by your actions because this was the first time you've done something like this and it made me feel special.

The sound of rushed footsteps hitting against the polished floorboard followed by the continuous chattering of the students meant it was now the end of the day.

I slowly placed my possessions in my bag as I imagined numerous scenarios of approaching you to say thank you,but just as I was about to you were no longer beside me.
I turned my head to the direction of door and I saw you walking towards it.

"Y/N!" I yelled before scurrying my hands to my face to cover my mouth.

Your long strands of hair effortlessly moved to the side of your shoulder to reveal all the beautiful features of your face.

(A/N:THATS RIGHT YALL ARE BEAUTIFUL)

"Yes?"

"Umm thank you for answering the question for me."

The corners of your eyes began to crease into thin folds of skin as your face radiated with a contagious smile.

"Your welcome I mean that's what classmates do right?"

"Yeah.Um yeah they do,"I replied. "Can I offer you a drink or a snack as a thank you?"

"Sure why not."

The sounds of our voices filled the streets as we talked about our daily activities.

"So where would you like to eat?" I asked.

She points her finger towards a convenience store and flashed me a smile.

"There."

"Gordon Ramsay would be proud."I said.

We entered the convenience store overwhelmed by the grand sight of prepackaged and fresh food resting upon clean white shelves aligned in neat rows.

"Y/N you can choose whatever you want,"I gestured and turned my head,but she was no longer beside me. "Y/N! Y/N where are you?"

"Oh Yangyang."she replied.

It's been less than a minute that we've entered the shop but her hands were already filled with a colourful assortment of candy,drinks and instant noodles.

"Don't worry we will share this together and I will pay for half of it."she smiled.

"No it's fine I will pay for it all." I suggested.

"Please at least let me pay half of it."

"Fine th-"

I quickly snatched the items she were holding in her arms and ran towards the till to get it paid. Frantically I searched for my wallet and took out the cash whilst the cashier calmly swiped the barcode of the items completely unaware of the tense situation.

Y/N stood beside me shaking her head and her arms crossed against her chest.

"Yangyang your so stubborn."

"But so are you."

"Touche."

"That was so good."she smiled as she gave me a thumbs up.

"Of course instant food is always the best."

She nodded in reply, "Well I guess I got to go now I need to catch the bus. Thank you so much for today I had a great time with you."

"Me too,"I smiled. "I will see you at school next week."

"Yes."she said as she stepped on to the bus and waved a goodbye before vanishing into the vehicle.

I entered my room and tiredly placed my belongings on my wooden desk,removing my books out of my backpack and organising it neatly with my collection of paperbacks.
As I continued to do so I noticed a folded piece of paper sticking out of one of the books.
I pinched the paper and opened it to reveal a downfall of money landing on my grey carpet and writing itched on the paper.

Yangyang I felt guilty that I couldn't pay for it so I snuck the money into your bag whether you like it or not. Hehehehehehehheehhehe you thought you could get away with it but no.

I threw a fist into the air out of excitement and happiness, before smiling at the paper.

"Yes lets be friends."I said and laid down on my bed with the paper against my chest,smiling and blushing uncontrollably.
