Jaehyun

The corridors were silent and empty except for the sound of my footsteps thundering against the cold hard floor.My breath was unsteady whilst struggling to hold my falling items pausing every second to fix myself just before I become a mess again.

"Why oh why in the world is it always me?" I mumbled angrily whilst fumbling with my assignment that I had pulled an all nighter for which was a grave mistake since that was now the reason for my tardiness.

I continued to hastily run through the polished hallway,my surroundings transitioning into a rapid,hazy blur as I sped past.
Gradually my pace began to slow down,my breath unsteady and my lungs burning,screaming for oxygen.

"Breathe just breathe. Just say you thought class started at midday."I reassured myself as I stood in front of the door.I straightened my back and pushed a few strands of my hair behind my ear making myself look more presentable to make up for my awful punctuality which was probably pointless but it was another way to subtly comfort myself.

I twisted the metal knob and entered the room.
"Sir I can explain you see I had thought that-" I paused.

I looked around my eyes scanning the room in all directions as thousands of pair of eyes were staring directly at me in annoyance and bewilderment.
Expect that's what I thought would happen instead I was welcomed by a more familiar friendly face.

"Y/N!"he shouted and ran towards me with his arms wide open for a warm embrace. "I knew you would be late so I waited for you."

"Wait where is everyone Jaehyun?"I questioned and put my hand in front of me to create a barrier between the two of us.

"Oh didn't you see the text I sent you,"he asked as he slowly laid his arms by his side. "Well long story short lesson is cancelled for today."

"Are you kidding me? Yes! Yes!" I shouted out of excitement. "I can finally catch up on the movies I wanted to watch."

"Or we could go on a date."he suggested as he walked towards me.

"It has been a long time hasn't it."I smiled.

He nodded in reply as he slowly removed the papers from my grasp and began to place them in my bag.

"You didn't have to put my stuff away but thank you."I said and kissed him on the cheek. "So where are we going to go?"

He smiled and slipped his hand into mine, "To your favourite cafe."

I sipped my coffee,a sharp bitterness hit my tongue that was mellowed down by the sweetness of the sugar,the minuscule white crystals dissolving on the tip and edges of the plump red muscle resting in my mouth.

"Are you enjoying your drink?"he asked.

"Yes very much."I smiled. "I never knew I missed this so much."

"Missed what?"

"Being on these dates with you and just this feeling of being relaxed again."I sighed as I  placed my warm cup on top of the porcelain saucer.

He placed his hand on top of mine spreading his warmth with a touch of his fingertips,tracing small circles on the back of my hand. "It's nice to know your feeling less stressed.You've always been in a rush these days and even though we have the same classes I feel like I still never spend enough time with you."

He rested his head on my shoulder as I ran my fingers through his silky hair. "You know I wish everyday was like this,no lessons so I could spend all my time being with you."

"I wish that too."I sighed and placed a kiss on his forehead.

"So after this can we watch the movies you wanted to watch at your house?"he mumbled playing with my fingers like a child.

"Definitely."I smiled.
