Chapter 2: Ah shit, here we go again

Nova: "Y/N! Where's your fucking weapon?!"

Y/N: "You rushed me!"

Nova: "We had like 4 hours to pack and you forgot your weapon!"

Y/N and Nova argued as packs of Beowolves chased them through the forest. The Grimm were catching up to Nova.

Y/N: "Grimm now. Talk later!"

A giant net flew towards the packs trapping most of them and leaving 3 behind, Raven and a sober Qrow decapitates 2 of them.

Y/N: "Thanks!"

The final one was about to pounce on Y/N but a bullet whizzes through the air and into the forehead of the beast killing it.

Summer waved from a distant hill while Tai defends her from an Ursai, she shoots off the head of the Ursai as well.

Tai: "Aw but I had it!"

Summer: "Nuh uh!"

They group together and head towards the relics killing Grimm left and right on this way there. By the time they get there there were only a few left.

Summer quickly grabs the white knight piece, the Branwen Twins did the same. Nova was too exhausted to even decide which one to pick.

Y/N: "Nova?"

'Never mind.'

He grabs the black king piece and carries Nova on his back, this made his mobility worse allowing more weaknesses.

Summer: "Don't worry Y/N, we got you covered! Right guys?"

Tai: "Yeah!"

Qrow smirked and nodded. They go over to the exit but the ground shook...

Raven: "What was that?"

Tai: "Earthquake?"

Claws begin to surface separating them from each other. A giant lizard Grimm breaks out of the earth and lets out a loud roar.

Raven: "Qrow! Tai!"

Qrow: "Group back together!"

The ground splits even more creating a large ravine, the lizard Grimm climbed out of the gaps and landed in front of Y/N.

Y/N: "Shit! Run!"

Raven nodded and ran followed by
Y/N. It chased them till they reached a cliff side, Y/N tosses Nova over to Raven and he pushes them into a hole.

Raven: "Y/N! What the fuck do you think-"

Roars echoed behind Y/N, the Grimm pushed him and itself over the edge. Raven was in shock of what just happened, she looked at the unconscious Nova wondering what to tell her when she wakes up.

Raven: 'Fuck fuck fuck fuck... What do I do?!'

Qrow: "Sis?!"

Summer: "Y/N! Nova!"

Tai: "Where are you guys?"

Raven crawls out of the hole with Nova over her shoulder, the rest of them help her out. When Raven gets out she gets bombarded with questions.

Qrow: "Are you okay?"

Tai: "What happened to Nova?"

Qrow: "Is the Grimm dead?"

Tai: "Why were you in there?"

Summer: "WHERE'S Y/N?!"

Everyone went silent after Summer shouted. She looked at Raven in the eye with tears streaming down her cheeks.
