A/N This chapter starts before Y/N and Emily moves to Massachusetts. This chapter will include them moving though so don't worry or stress about it. On with the story...
Y/N POV (point of view) I couldn't believe it, today me and my bestie were moving to Massachusetts. Adrenaline flooded my body as I rushed around frantically trying to pack the last of my stuff. I was going to miss London. I had so many good memories, meeting my first best friend, my first boyfriend and certainly not least, being able to see my family and friends all the time. I also had bad memories, my first heartbreak, being bullied and almost being killed.
I decided it would be a good time to text my best friend and see what she was up to.
Y=Y/N E=Emily Y: Hey Em r u ready yet we need to get to the airport soon E: Oh hey yeah I'm ready to go I'll order a cab so I can come and pick u up so we can go together Y: U don't need to do that I can order my own cab E: Too late I'm already on my way Y: ... E: Bye Y: Bye
Emily's POV I was in the cab ready to pick Y/N up when suddenly the cab stopped and I didn't know what was happening. I looked around and saw a tall man with a mask over his face. I looked up scared and our eyes locked. He stared me in the eyes and walked closer and closer to the car. I wanted to scream but I couldn't say a single word. I felt paralysed and then everything went black.
Time skip brought to you by me (still Emily's POV) I woke up in a in a room where I was engulfed in the pitch black. I couldn't see anything but I knew someone was there, I could feel them staring a hole into the back of my head.
I turned around not knowing what to do. The figure got closer and I could feel their jagged breath on my neck. I turned around and my face was inches apart from them. "Who are you and what do you want from me?" I asked in shock. "Don't worry I don't want to hurt you. I'm Jace, I didn't mean to startle you. I just need someone right now and I know this isn't what you do to people." He replied between shaky breaths. "Let me go I need to see my friend!" "On one occasion..."
He got closer and we both found each other leaning in. Our lips locked and we stood there staring into each others eyes. (A/N their eyes adjusted to the dark if your confused). After a few seconds, we pulled apart gasping for air while blushing profusely.
Jace's POV Wow, did I really just kiss a stranger? Oh well, I'll probably just forget about her anyway. I don't really need people in my life they just get in the way of my plans. "You're free to go." I said as I opened the door to let her see the outside again. I don't want her to think I'm going to harm her or even worse, kill her. I watched as she quickly ran away, not even daring to look back.
I felt a tear run down my face as I watched her shadow fade away. This can't be happening, I can't fall for someone I just met.
Y/N POV I was waiting and I was afraid we were gonna miss our flight. At the same moment, I had a knock at my door. I opened to Emily who's face was pale as if she'd seen a ghost. "Em are you ok?" I ask inquisitively. "Er yeah, I'm fine! Let's go or we'll miss our flight!" She answered as if she didn't even know what she was saying.
We quickly stopped at the council office so I could hand in my keys. Once we did that, we made our way to the airport. Our flight had been delayed so we were all upgraded to business class. We got some really nice pictures that we posted on instagram.

Time skip to the house (Emily's POV) We unlock the two oak doors and step foot in our new house. I really wasn't that excited anymore, not after being kidnapped by Jace. I couldn't stop thinking about him. Was I falling for a stranger I just met?
I ran upstairs and went to my room. It was bare and the only furniture that was there was a bed and a wardrobe. I decided I was going to decorate my room while Y/N was busy in her own little world. I wonder who she was talking to on the plane? What if she's found another best friend? That means she doesn't like me anymore, doesn't it?
I marched down the stairs ready to do something I should've done a long time ago...
A/N Hey guys I bet you all hate me for leaving it off on a cliffhanger but I promise I will continue this story. I might start writing the next chapter right now. If not, I might not continue until next week cause I have test week at school. Until next time, take it easy fellas! 💓💟
