Hey guys, welcome back to another PROPER chapter. I know I haven't posted properly in a while but I lost my motivation. I realised that I wasn't willing to lose something that made me happy, and that's the entire reason why I'm continuing this story. This chapter is the next part of "What made Y/N move to Massachusetts?" Enough about me, on with the chapter.

Y/N POV
I had finally made up my mind, Elijah needed to know what was holding me back. It was only a matter of time before he found out anyway. I opened Instagram and decided to dm Elijah.

Elijah's POV
I felt so bad for Y/N, she didn't deserve any of that. Her dad really wasn't the typical dad everyone thinks of. She says that she doesn't want people to pity her, but they don't choose to, it's natural and you can't help it.

I was currently sat in my room when I hear a knock on my door. I stand up to reveal the one and only Sub with a very happy and flushed face. He looks like he's been running all around the house.

"Hello Sub! What do you want?" I ask, slightly confused.
"You're never gonna believe me but Dorl is finally official!" He squealed like a fangirl who had finally been noticed on Instagram.
"I'm happy for them, send all my love. And I don't mean to sound rude, but we need to cut this short." I say, fumbling with my fingers.
"You're going to see Y/N, aren't you?" He says, looking me dead in my eyes.
"Captain obvious has officially entered the chat!" I yelled, laughing after every word.
"Alright then. Bye Elijah!" Sub yelled, walking away.

~time skip~
I got into my car, ready to go pick up Y/N. I was highly nervous, yet highly excited at the same time. What if she cancels last minute? What if I'm wasting my time? Man, I need to get myself together. I can't just fall apart before I see her. I don't want her to see me like that.

I got to her driveway and walked up to the two oak doors. She instantly answered and pulled me into a hug. She still had tear stains on her cheek, she was still highly upset about her dad. But I was willing to do anything to help her.

Y/N POV
I buried my head into the side of Elijah's neck and held him close. My life was deteriorating slowly, and it wouldn't be long before it collapses. Elijah ran his fingers through my hair as his other hand made circular motions on my back.

"So, how about we go get that coffee?" He asks me as we pull away.
"Sure, let's go!" I reply, flashing a smile at him.
"Ladies first!" He says, opening the car door for me.
"Aww! You're so sweet!" I say flattered.

~time skip to Starbucks~
We enter, the sweet smell of coffee filled my nostrils. Man, I really missed coming here with my family. The corners of my mouth start to fade as I remember all the memories. My mind was flooding with all of them, but I just had to push them away. The same way I deal with everything.

"So, what do you want?" Elijah asks, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Can I please have a chocolate cookie crumble crème. If you don't mind." I respond, while looking at the menu board.
"Ok. Can I please have one chocolate cookie crumble crème and one caramel frappuccino. My name is Elijah and her name is Y/N." He spoke softly to the cashier.

We both walked over to a table next to a window. I was so in thought, I didn't even notice our drinks that had been put in front of us. Elijah looked at me, he just made me melt. I finally looked over whilst grabbing my drink. I took a sip whilst taking in the silence around us. It wasn't a bad silence, it was a good one. It was soothing and was helping me think over everything.

Elijah took my hand in his, flashing the cutest smile that was ever possible. He really did make things better, maybe he was the one. But let's all be honest, this is probably only going to be a one time thing, and then I will go back to the same old me. But something tells me he isn't like that.

As time went on we made small talk and even exchanged numbers. We then arranged another day to see each other, and I'm happy to say that both of us had a good time. Hopefully we have something in store in the future.

Elijah drove me home, I really didn't want the night to end here. He has helped me so much, I can't thank him enough.

"Can you please stay? I'm all alone." I ask, looking him in the eyes.
"Yeah, why not? Let me just go home quickly and grab my stuff." He replies, happy as can be.

Before I get out of the car, Elijah grabs my wrist. I turn back around to be face to face with Elijah. He cups my face in his hands and kisses me softly but passionately. I didn't kiss back at first, I was so shocked, but I eventually kissed back. This boy really does make me feel different emotions at the same time.

And with that Elijah drove back home and grabbed his stuff, ready to stay at my house.
