I stopped in front of the door, breathing in and out, trying to calm myself. I opened the door after. I was afraid. Don't blame me! I don't know things.... Some... Things.
On with life!
I peeked in and saw ojii-san was in there. He smiled an inviting smile so I went in. I went on my knees and bowed at him. Oh god! Good thing there are no ANBUs at the moment. "Uh.. um.. uh.. I.. I'm so-.. Sorry." Then I quickly stood up whilst I look to the side.
Ojii-san looked confused but shook it away with a smile. "You never fail to make me confused."
I became curious and asked with a childish smile, "Is it wrong if I say, I enjoy it?"
He laughed at me and I blushed a bit. But I wasn't joking at all! "You're really innocent. But, no, it's alright. It's just what you like. Others like weirder things. And about what happened earlier? I could help you."
I sighed. "It's just a dream; a memory. It's nothing big and that was what I was sorry about."
Ojii-san nodded and asked, "You shifted in your sleep when I blew smoke. Does it make you feel uncomfortable?"
I shook my head. "It's nothing. It's just earlier. I have not had it before."
"Akane-chan do you want to live in Konoha and become a ninja?" Oh. My. Kami. Did I just hear him right?
I patted my ears and told ojii-san to cover his ears or do some jutsu to be deaf. Ojii-san raised a brow but did it. I shrieked. My head hurt after that. Yeah, I did hear him right. "Does it look like you need to ask someone who just made you part of her family to stay?" I said with a closed eye smile. My eyes were shut more tightly than necessary because I was keeping in a bit of pain from my shout.
He smiled and shook his head. "Then, you will enter the academy tomorrow. You-" I cut him off with hugs and thank yous. He patted my head and chuckled. "I understand you're happy but you should let others finish when they speak. It's good manners."
I tilted my head and did a closed-eye smile. "Yes, Ojii-san!"
I yawned. He chuckled. "You must be needing a place to stay. Since you're going to be a late-comer in the academy, you're gonna need a tutor to catch up so you'll be living with a Jounin."
My ears perked up at this and my eyes sparkled in curiosity. "Ne, ne! Is this Jounin a former ANBU? Hm? Hm?!" I asked excitedly with my tone rising.
He raised an eyebrow at me and unsurely nodded. "I don't know how get some things right but yes. Yes, he is."
I giggled and a puff of smoke appeared. When it vanished, it revealed a lazy, silver haired, masked man. Although I already know that but of course I won't tell that, ojii-san introduced him, "He is Hatake Kakashi. You will be living with him and will be training you." This time, I let him finish his talk.
I threw my hands in the air. I closed my eyes like feeling the rhythm. I did a little swing like jazz while singing, "I'm gonna learn~ chi~ do~ ri~ Yeah~"
They looked at me weirdly but I just shrugged it off. I should get used to this. Kakashi-sensei looked at me and asked, "How do you know that?"
"Do you think that since only a selected few knows, I shouldn't know?" I shot back at him. He looked like he was thinking about it then nodded.
"It would only prove you suspicious to know many things." He pointed out.
I crossed my arms over my chest. I muttered lowly while pouting and glaring at the wall, "Says the ANBU who gathers relevant information and irrelevant peverted books from a pervy sannin."
