Chapter 9

*Victoria's POV*

I couldn't stop smiling like a idiot. People will actually think am crazy. After sleeping for four good hours I decided to do some grocery shopping.... C' mon who sleep for four hours, who else but me. Yeah I know I sleep a lot not to talk about me being pregnant now, am gonna be sleeping like......which type of animal sleeps a lot? Well I don't know but I know am gonna be sleeping like a buffalo and I hope J will be able to handle my new sleeping habit.

Have been shopping for a while now, I think this is enough. I head to pay for my things so as to head back home and prepare J's favorite only to bump into someone....

"Oh my....am so sorry." I said trying to take my purse which fell from my hand.

"It's okay...am sorry to, its actually my fault I wasn't looking at where I was going."replied the person I bumped into.

That sounds like a man's voice I looked up only to see Bernard who was also trying to help me pick up my purse.

" Bernard?"

He looked up and give a billion dollar smile which am sure every girl is dying for but not me. My J smile race my heartbeat *wink* but not his.

"Vic, What are you doing here?"

God what kind of question is this!
"Well I actually came to register my unborn child in this daycare."

He was looking at me like have turn into an alien who have two head.

"Stop staring at me like that Ben, isn't it obvious what I came here to to do."

"Oh..am sorry that was a stupid question."

"Yeah."

"So how are you now?"

"What?"

"I had you called in sick this morning, so how are you now?" He asked

Is not good to lie when you are actually the forgetful type, when you lie and you forget u lied to get pass and you were asked again and u said the truth before remembering you've lied before...... Who do such....of course me.
Am a bad liar.

"Oh.....yeah am getting a little bit better and i just came to get some important things and get back home."

"Okay, that's good. Well......u...uh....uhn...I was thinking if we can have coffee some other time, you know when you are fine and okay with it."

What!..."Bernard......are you asking me on a date?"

"What.....no, not like that....you know, it was your husband I saw the other day right who came to pick you?"

"Yep." I replied happily popping the "p".

" well I know you are married and just asking if he his your husband you are grinning happily anyway the coffee is friendly, just a friendly out nothing more cause I won't want your husband to have my head."

" *smiles* ok, no problem. Let me have your number so when am not busy, I will call you."

He gave me his number and we part was. I got home and started preparing J's favorite. I set the table in a romantic manner and place the pregnancy test in a box making it look like a gift. I wore my short black strapless gown and leave my hair down just the way he likes it.

Just get home already J....
