Victoria's POV

On getting to the hospital, I went straight to my office. After some minutes of staring at a patients reports which will actually be collected soon and given to another doctor to check out also, I couldn't even think of anything other than my asshole J.

I know I didn't do anything, he knows all my secret, all of me, then what could have went wrong?.....what could he have-

'Knock'

'Knock'

"Come in"

"Hey beautiful"

I looked up to see who just called me beautiful. Am sure if j- shut up vic.

"Hey Ben"

"How are you?"

"Am good"

"Am here for the patients reports which was given to you some hours ago"

'Hours!'

I looked at him wide eyed

But it actually came some minutes ago.........I think

"You know you are actually not good right?"

"Wha- what, what do you mean?"

"Can sit first?"

"Oh am so sorry, mind my manners. Sure sit down"

"Thank you, so as I was saying you look pale, you don't look like the Victoria I saw yesterday who was happy. And that light and happiness is not there anymore."

"Is it that obvious?" I whispered to myself thinking he won't hear me, unfortunately he did.

"It is, so tell me what happened?"

"Nothing" I answered with teary eyes

Hormones!

Damn you Jason!

Damn you hormones!

"When you're done lieing, let me know"

"Ben-"

"I know we've not know each other for long for you to be telling me whatever happened but as far as I and my feelings is concerned, I still like you but since you are taken, there's nothing I can do about it but I want you to know that i'll always be your friend, a really good one and mind you am not expecting any thing back from you. Just friends.
And I want you to remember that sharing your heavy burdens will make it light"

His words makes me feel like a cold water is being poured on me which makes me feel relax but my hormones decided to come into the subject and betray me.

I started crying, when I myself don't even know the reason why.

Ben got up and came to my side

"Hey....it's okay"

I could feel his hands on my shoulder trying give me some comfort

"Hey you know what let's go to Starbuck"

I know the chapter is short, I promise the next one will be more than this.

I add some drama to chapter 10, so pls go back to read it.
