Chapter 12

Jason's POV

I waked up when I felt something vibrate beside me. Didn't even know when I fell asleep but I knew I must have fell asleep due to me crying my eyes out.

A man crying right? When you find yourself in my situation you will know how I feel but I pray you won't. I pulled my phone out and saw that it's 12:59 already, I checked the message being sent to me which makes my phone vibrate and saw a message from my secretary informing me about the important business meeting I have early this morning with some business partners.

My neck hurts due to me falling asleep on the couch, maybe I'll tell Vic to give me some massage and am sure....Vic---Vic.....God! I pulled my hair in frustration, anger and sadness.

Wait......am so stupid and a monster. What kind of husband send out late this night. What if something happen to her? Shit!

I quickly took my car key and ran outside, I got into my car and drive straight out into the street. God please let her be safe. I called her phone many times but its not going through. What if she has been robbed?

What have I done? What have I done?. I kept looking both left and right if I could see her, but I couldn't find her not even her shadow.

I packed beside the road. What she has been kidnapped or rapped? God!....."God please keep her safe for me, I shouldn't have send her out." I didn't know I was crying until I felt a droplet of water on my cheeks.

I hit the steering in frustration, cursing myself for sending her out. I should have think this through before doing such. She will never forgive me for__ my thoughts was disturbed when I had my phone ringing, I looked a the caller ID and saw that it was Vic's sister.

I cleaned my eyes with the back of my hand and picke the call.

"Hello"

"Hello Jason"

"Yeah"

"I don't know what happened to Victoria cause she won't tell what happened to her and she's crying and she has cried herself to sleep. I just want to let you know she's here so you won't be worried about her."

"Thanks you so much Elena, please keep her safe."

"You're welcome. Will you come and get her tomorrow?"

"I-uh-uhn i"

"Gtg, my baby is awake I will talk to you later."

"Okay. Thanks again."

I disconnect the call and let out the breath I didn't know I was holding in. Relief washed over me, she's safe. Thank you God for answering my prayers.

And I drive back home.
