Dean sat down on the couch, resting his head back with a content sigh. After a big hunt a rest is what he needed. He kicked his feet up on the small coffee table, making a loud thump when his boots hit the wood. The hunter closes his eyes, exhausted, a nap being exactly what he needed. Eventually, the older Winchester was able to settle down and fall asleep.

"Dean?" Cas asked, walking into the room. When the angel heard no response he peered over to look at the hunter. He couldn't help but smile at the peaceful Winchester. Cas felt his heart flutter at the adorable sight of Dean sleeping.

The blue-eyed angel still needed to ask Dean his question, but couldn't bring himself to interrupt Dean in his peaceful state. He decided to wait for him to wake up. Castiel sat down on the couch, wanting to reach out and hold Dean's hand.

After awhile of waiting, Cas got a little bored and sluggish himself. But, the angel still didn't want to wake Dean. He gazed at the man next to him once again, admiring all his features.

Cas has been in love with the hunter for awhile. He just didn't know how to tell his friend that he was madly in love with him, it was a difficult task. Castiel loved his beautiful green eyes, his gorgeous smile, his freckles that reminded the angel of stars.

Timidly, Cas curled into Dean's side, his body heat enveloping Cas like a blanket. Castiel sighed happily, feeling at peace. He snuggled in closer, hoping not to awake the Winchester, and shut his eyes (even though he doesn't technically sleep). Dean, still half-asleep, wrapped an arm around Cas' body.

An hour later Sam entered the large room, a book in hand. The tall man went over to the couch, but was greeted by the image of his brother and the angel cuddling on the sofa. Sam chuckled softly, knowing this would happen sooner or later. He smiled at the two, and, not wanting to wake them up, crept silently away, beyond happy.
