Dimitri collected me at the end of the night and whisked me away to the cabin.

"Explain yourself comrade." I instructed once we were comfortable on the bed.

He did.

"Who knew? My dad protected your family from yours when you're not around," I commented when he finished.

He laughed. "I'm so surprised I didn't click earlier."

"Here, open this." I handed over the unopened gift from Abe. It was addressed to both of us.

"Of course he knew. He knows everything about everything and everyone, so naturally he'd keep a closer eye on his daughter. Even more so where I'm concerned."

"Just open, comrade!" I giggled.

"Whoa. Roza."

"What is it?"

"A house at Court, and an account each for you, me, and Bub."

"Bub too?"

"He knows everything about everything and everyone."

"Wow."

"Understatement Roza."

"Let's get some sleep. Bub's exhausted."

"Sorry baby." He kissed my baby bump and we fell asleep entwined.
