Nobody is forced to read it ,people accept flaws of male lead, but they wish picture-perfect female lead. Can't women have flaws and improve it in later part of life. There are hundreds of stories where female leads have a lot of self-respect and ditch the male lead, but for once, can't women give a chance to a woman character learn and grow.
