Chapter 15 - Daring Dares: Tracie And Luke

{Tracie's POV}

"I'll do it"

Luke stared right at me as he presented, the blood started to rush up my cheeks. Everyhting around me literally felt like it all stopped. I put my hands around my cheeks, but at the same time, I try not to look like I was freaking out. But it just felt like it wasn't working at all.

Luke smiled at me. I wasn't really sure if it was a genuine smile, or he was trying to play with my feelings. He moved towards me and I sat there, frozen, with my eyes wid open and my hands still touching my face for some reason.

I could hear my three friends giggling. My heart started beating so fast, and I started to feel sweat dripping from my head. As his face moved closer to mine, he bgun to close his eyes and placed his hand on my jaw. He came closer and closer, until our lips were an inch apart. Then suddenly, my heart just stopped..

"Wait!"

I backed away from him, which made him release his grip off of my jaw. I stood up and saw everyone in the whole room, shocked as shit. I couldn't blame them. Even I was shocked for what I did.

"Uh.. I.. um.." I shrugged, "Can we do it in private?"

Luke grinned away, and nodded as he stood up from the floor. Everyone groaned of disappointment. "Wait a sec.." Nathalie interupted, "how will we know if you actually did it?"

Then suddenly, Paige took Peyton's arm and said, "Go with them, and check." "No fucking way!" protested Peyton as she flick her arm, to break away from Paige's grip. "Fine. I'll go with them." Paige said instead.

Luke and I started walking and Paige followed behind us. We went inside the bedroom, because that's basically the only private place we could ever think of.. Well, besides the toilet but.. That'll be really inappropriate if we kiss there.

Luke and I stood in front of each other, and Paige stood beside us. "Well, what are you waiting for? Christmas?" said Paige which broke the awkwardness. Luke grinned, but I just froze, I couldn't even take any jokes right now. "Uh.. I'm so sorry, but, Page, can you leave us here for a moment?" I requested, "sure sure."

{Luke's POV}

Paige stepped out of the room, but Tracie had her head down the whole time.

"You know, you don't have to do this if you don't want to." I started. She slightly lifted her head up, and mumbled something I couldn't really understand. "Sorry?" I asked for pardon.

"I.. Want to.. It's just that.. " She said it so soft, that I really almost couldn't hear it, "I've never really kissed anyone before."

I tried to hide my laugh, to the point that I couldn't help it, so I giggled a little bit. "Oh, thanks a lot. Nevermind then." She said with frustration, "I'm out of here."

She turned away from me and opened the door. Before she could close the door behind her, I grabbed her wrist then grabbed her waist so she could face me again. I grabbed her cheeks with my other hand and placed my lips onto hers.

I backed away from her, and said, "Are you sure you've never done this before?" I grinned. I released her from my grip and walked away. As I was gonna step outside of the room, I saw Paige standing there with her hand cupped around her mouth. I smiled and walked back to the living room. While I was walking there, I suddenly hade this feeling in my gut, that I've accomplished something. Like I've done something that I've always wanted to. Was it the kiss? It can't be. I Barely know her.

I sat back down beside Calum, and we all waited for Paige and Tracie to come back.

"Did you do it?" Calum asked, "Haha, I'll let Paige answer that question."

We saw Paige and Tracie walking back, and as soon as they sat back down, everyone except me and Tracie, stared at her. "Well?" Nathalie asked. I pulled out my phone from my pocket and checked my twitter for some notifications just to avoid their reactions about the dare.

They all suddenly spoke out a loud "yieeee" together, summing up that Paige confirmed that we really did it. I felt a little happiness in my heart for some reason. I seriously can't understand myself sometimes.
