"Hey gurrrrls!" The four of us were lining up to buy food for our lunch. When we turned around, we saw Sammy, with a big smile. He was wearing a pink polo shirt that fits his body perfectly, and he paired it with a pair of black skinny jeans. Damn, he was so handsome. If he wasn't gay, I would totally date him.
"Hey, girlfriend!" Tracie said with excitement. He gave all of us a cheek-to-cheek kiss. "we missed you so much! How was your Vacation in Paris?" I said with a wide smile. "It was really fun." He replied as we walk to the dining area in the cafeteria.
"That's it? You didn't meet anyone special?" Paige said, while wiggling her eyebrows. "Yeah.. It's the city of love." Said Nathalie as she take a bite from her burger.
"Unfortunately, no." Sammy frowned. "But, I went to this.. Really fun gay club and-" He got cut off as Nathalie opened up her palm, gesturing him to stop. "Uh, sorry, but we don't wanna hear all the horny details alright?" Sammy rolled his eyes as we all burts into laughter.
"Speaking of having fun.." Tracie said, breaking the silence. "I've heard that there will be a coming Battle of The Bands this weekend." I saw Sammy widened his eyes and with a smile, so big it went from ear to ear. "Sounds good." I replied, trying to concentrate on my salad.
I saw Nathalie look at Paige, then looked at Me, and look back at Paige again. She seemed a little hesitant wether she wants to go or not, so I asked her, "Hey, what's wrong?" "It's nothing. It's just," she shrugged "I think I have to stay at home in the weekends."
"Oh, come on Nat. It's gonna be a fun night!" Tracie pushed. "Okay, fine." Nathalie replied with a soft smile.
The first day of school finished. I can't believe I even survived. The four of us stepped out of the school building and went to the school parking because Paige was kind enough to give us a ride home.
The car engine started, and we were on our way.
"Guys, let's stop for some tacos" Suggested Nathalie. "Wow. Hungry again, huh?" joked Paige while she turns the stiring wheel. "Okay, there's a taco bell somewhere near that block.We'll stop by the the bubble tea zone as well." The three of us cheered happily.
After we get our tacos and bubble teas, our journey went on. "Hey, who do you guys think will win battle of the bands this year?" Asked Tracie, while she munch on her taco. "I feel like the one who won last year will. They're pretty good." Replied Nathalie "Oh. Fortress Root?" Paige said, taking a sip from her drink while she keep her eyes on the road. I didn't know what to say so I just nodded while I eat my taco.
After a while of talking about random things, we got to Nathalie and Tracie's block and dropped them off. "Bye guys. See you tomorrow!" Screamed Paige as they both ran out from her car.
After that, Paige drove next to my block and dropped me off there. "Thanks for the ride." I said to her. "No problemo!" She replied with a salute.
End of Chapter 2
