Chapter 16 - Daring Dares: Peyton And Michael

{Michael's POV}

It was 2:00 in the morning, and we decided to end the whole game, since it was getting really late. We were getting ready to go out the apartment,  when the front door suddenly opened.

"Heya!" Ashton's head popped out from the door. We all just waved our hand to him, showing discomfort. "Why do you all look so dead?" He asked as he and Paige walk in the apartment.

"Nah, just tired." Luke replied. "But, what's happened to you?" his question made all of us in the room smiled. But Ashton had the biggest smile of all. Ashton waited for Paige to enter the toilet til he told us what went on.

"It's was pretty awesome. I'm really proud of myself. She's just simply amazing."

"You finally did something right, Irwin" I winked at him.

Tracie and Peyton already went out of the apartment, and Nathalie went to their bedroom to get ready for bed. So basically, it was just us boys who were left in the living room.

"Uhm.. Alright. I'll see you boys tomorrow." I said to them. "What? Let's go back to our apartment together, mate." Ashton replied, not knowing about the dare. "This won't take long. I'm just gonna say goodnight to Paige."

"No, I Umm.." I shrugged, "staying at Peyton's for the night." Ashton gave a shocked face yet a confused one. "Yea, it was a dare from the game earlier. You can ask Luke about it." I explained, "Ask him about Tracie as well" I joked, however Luke blushed a bit. "Well, don't forget to use a protection." Luke tempted a comeback. I punched his arm, and moved on.

I walked out the apartment and stopped in front of Peyton and Tracie's apartment's door. It didn't take long to go there because it was just one apartment away from Paige's.

"I'm so dumb. Why did I even take Luke's dare.." I thought. I took a deep breath and knocked the door.

The door opened and it was Peyton.

{Peyton's POV}

I didn't think that he would really take this dare seriously. I was shocked when I saw that it was him before me, standing outside my apartment's door.

I moved aside to let him come inside. "Where's Tracie?" he asked as he walked in the room. "She's uh.." I stuttered as I close the door, "she's sleeping."

"You look uncomfortable." He said, slightly smiling, "No, it's just.. I didn't really expect you to come here."

"Well, a dare's a dare right?" He was really smiling this time.

He sat on the sofa, and took the remote. "Let's see if there's anything good on." he said. "Aren't you gonna sleep yet? It's getting late." I told him. "Nah, I'm not that tired yet."

I nodded and went to the bathroom to do my night routine. I feel so thankful that the beds here are big, so it won't be too awkward for us. Omg, no. It's still awkward. I mean, what the heck.. I'm going to be sleeping with a stranger.

I went out, and saw that he was watching Monster Inc. with his feet on to the couch. "Feeling at home aye." I joked while I walk towards him. He moved aside to let me sit. "Sorry" He giggled. "It's fine. It's quite nice having someone who isn't too shy to do those things." I smiled at him, and to my surprise, he smiled back. I got this tingely feeling in my stomach in the situation. It's so uncomfortable.

"Well.." He said, killing the awkwardness. "Have you watched the Monster's University?"

"Unfortunately, no. Not yet." I replied with a laugh.

"Well, did you know that Mike used to have braces?" He stated, "He kinda reminds me of you, since you seem to need one." He laughed.

Yea, he totally killed the moment. I realised that he may seem kind and sweet at first, but he's a total asshole in the end. My smile went to an annoyed face, and said, "Okay, I'm gonna go to bed now." I walked straight to the bedroom, and I heard him say, "Hey, you don't even look like you're tired." I kept walking as if I couldn't hear him. "Was it something I said?"

I lay down on the bed, and placed a pillow beside me to show that I divided the bed into his side, and mine. Slowly.. I fell asleep.
