Chapter 13 - Awkward Night

{Peyton's POV}

We chilled in Paige and Nathalie's hotel room. Me, Nathalie and Tracie decided to watch a movie, while Paige gets ready for ger date with Ashton. Yes, it's tonight.

"Okay, is this alright?" Paige asks the three of us, while she holds up a pink lacey dress.

"Hmm.. Too girly." Nathalie squinted.

"What about this one?" Paige asked once more while she holds up a dark blue cocktail dress.

"Eehh, too fancy." Tracie replied as she tilts her head to the side.

"This is the only dress left in my suitcase." She held up an orange, casual skate dress.

Our eyes widened. "Gurl, that is Per-fect!" I said while I snapped my fingers.

After a few minutes, someone knocked on the door.

{Paige's POV}

*knock* *knock* *knock*

Oh my gosh. It's him. "Breathe in, breathe out Paige. Whoooo" I thought to myself. I walked to the door and opened it.

"Hey, you-"

"Sorry?" A guy stood in front of me in a pizza delivery uniform and was carrying a box of pizza.

Peyton jumped out of the sofa, and took the box of pizza from the guy's hands, then she payed him.

"Sorry, uh.. We ordered pizza. Hehe" Peyton giggle as she put down the pizza on the living room table. I gave her the finger, and they all just let out a laugh.

"Don't worry, he'll come soon. It'll be aight" Tracie said with a positive tone.

Soon, there was another knock on the door.

"Can you get that? It might be someone else again." I requested. "Sure, I'll get it." replied Nathalie. When she opened the door, I couldn't quite see who it was and what was going on, because Nathalie was covering. She turned back to me, and said, "It's him. Come on." She gestured to come to the door. I walked closer and saw Ashton's hazel eyes look over me.

"H.. Hey." He greeted and let out a big breath, as he was nervous. Wtf, I should be nervous, not him.

"Hi" I smiled at him.

"Hello!!"

Three of the boys suddenly popped out of no where.

"Whoa, whoa." I said, "Don't tell me they're coming with us.."

"Of course not. They said that-" Ashton got cut off by Michael, "We wanna chill with the other gals!" He said opening his arms as wide as he can, and had this giggly smile of his.

"You're not welcome here!" Nathalie joked, from inside the room. "Oh, yeah?! Try us!" Calum yelled, as the three of them barge inside the hotel room.

"I think they can handle this on their own." I smiled at Ashton who was standing still in front of me. "Are you sure?" He replied with concern. I nodded, then he said, "Alright, shall we go?" He moved aside to to let me through, then we were out.

{Tracie's POV}

I noticed Ashton and Paige head out of the door. I'm really happy for Paige. On the other hand, the other three were here in the same apartment as us. What the heck.

Michael went to the bedroom (without our permission.. That little bastard.) and played GTA using the big bedroom tv and the xbox that Peyton brought from home.

Calum took off his shirt, and started to work out on the carpet near the living room couch.

Then there's Luke. Ohh, Luke. He was just sitting down on one of the stools using his phone. He seemed so serious. I wonder what he was doing.

Me and the girls sat on the living room couch and watched Family Guy. I noticed that the boys weren't interacting much with us. It was pretty awkward to be honest.

I tried to think of something to break the awkwardness.

"Hey guys, wanna play spin the bottle?" I asked while taking the empty bottle from the living room table.

"Isn't that kinda boring?" asked Michael, popping his head out from the door of the bedroom.

"Well, we'll add a twist" I said with a smirk, and seeing now that everyone was looking at me and waiting for what I was proposing.

"We'll write some challenges on pieces of paper, and we'll put them in this hat." I said as I grabbed a fedora lying on the ground, "Then whoever the bottle points at, shall reach in the hat and do the challenge in the paper." I smiled widely and moved my eyebrows up and down.

"I'm in!" Peyton yelled while she raise up her hand excitedly. "Alright" Nathalie agreed and had a cheeky smile.

Luke put his phone in his pocket and said "I'm down." He walked towards the carpet where me and the two girls were adjusting ourselves to sit comfortably on it. Oh god. Luke looked so hot, I feel like I was about to faint. "Keep it together." I thought harshly.

"Calum, Michael! C'mon guys!" Luke called out. "Coming in just a sec!" yelled Michael from the bedroom.

Calum took his shirt off the chair beside him, and put them on.

Nthalie leaned in to me and said, "It wasn't necessary for him to do that." I tried to hide my laugh at what she said.

Michael got out of the bedroom, and sat beside Luke, who was sitting beside Calum. Then the three of us, sitting together, and we all made a circle.

I placed the bottle in the middle and started spinning it.
