Some sort of odd but tingling feeling embraced my lips, softly and barely, causing my consciousness to break through.

The brushing against the tender skin grew more frequent, and with a giggle fighting to escape my lips, I realized it was simply my fiancé leaving his tender kisses.

"Come on love, wake up," he mumbled against my lips, causing me to break into a grin and open my eyes carefully in avoidance of any light.

The soft morning glow of the room fell on Freddie's sweet smile as his hand caressed my chin gently.

"Isn't this a lovely sight to wake up to," I sighed happily, leaning up a little with my bare body to kiss him once more, watching as his cocoa eyes seemed to melt a little.

"Happy birthday, darling," he whispered, "I hope this year brings you endless happiness, health, and love," his hands tangled with mine, I could only hear the unconcealed adoration in his voice.

"Thank you Freddie, as long as you're with me then it'll be alright," blushing a little under his gaze as the covers slipped away.

Clearing his throat out, he pulled a tray from the bedside that I hadn't noticed before, "I made you breakfast in bed," he grinned, "Pancakes, hash browns, a fluffy omelette, and a side concoction of your favorite fruits, along with mango juice," he elaborated as he set the tray down in my lap.

Laughing, a bit overwhelmed by the care he'd taken to do this for me so immaculately, I patted the space beside me, "Join me?"

He shook his head, "I'm only treating you, my dear. I've had breakfast over an hour ago, because you wake up later than is humanly possible," he rolled his eyes as I shrugged sheepishly.

"You tired me out last night," I arched my eyebrow at him as his cheeky grin grew, while I dug in the pancakes that seemed to inviting to let them go cold.

"Only because I love you, you know. Consider it an early birthday gift."
