By six o'clock, Anatol, Derril, and Virgil had written four pages full of rumors about the Plastics, half of them fake, the other half real. Derril grinned triumphantly.

"We did it. Finally!" He exclaimed, spinning around in his rolly chair.

Anatol smiled slightly. "Now let's print it out."

Virgil winced, searching for a reason not to print it out yet. "Wait-uhm-I think I can get more out of them tomorrow-"

Derril glanced at hm. "Oh?"

"Yeah, so, uhm, maybe we should wait on printing them out-"

Anatol nodded. "That makes sense."

Derril nodded as well. "Okay. So, come over in two days and we'll add on to it, and then we'll print it out."

"Okay."

~the next day~

Virgil walked into school, his head low, like usual. He was feeling guilty for what he was doing. He knew it wasn't right. But he felt like Derril would hurt him if he didn't play along. So he did as he was told. He got the secrets. He gave them to Derril and Anatol. He helped undermine the Plastics.

'They're not nice people,' He kept telling himself. 'You're doing the right thing.' But he never believed it.

He sighed and walked up to his locker, putting in the combination and opening it. He got out his English stuff. Out of nowhere, arms wrapped around his waist, making him jump slightly and yelp. He turned to see who it was.

"Oh. Hey, Roman."

Roman chuckled. "Hello, Virgil." He put his head on Virgil's shoulder. "How was your day yesterday."

Virgil felt his heart start beating faster. Roman couldn't find out. It would ruin him. "Uhm-it was alright-how was yours?"

He smiled slightly. "It was good. Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to come over to my house after school? Patton and Logan are coming, too.

'Perfect,' Virgil thought. "Uhm, Yeah! That would be great! I'll tell my mom."

Roman's smile brightened. "Awesome!"

The bell rang, and the two were forced to separate.

Virgil sat down in his usual seat. When Derril sat down next to him, he told him, "Roman invited me to hang out at his house after school. The other Plastics will be there, too. I can get some embarrassing stories out of them."

Derril grinned. "That's amazing. Nice job." He high fived Virgil.

~after school~

Roman, Virgil, and Logan met in their usual spot. Roman drove them to his house, and they got out and went in.

When they walked in, the group was greeted by two boys who were bickering. One was on the top most step of the stairway leading to the bedrooms, and the second one was on the bottom step.

"REMY, I KNOW YOU TOOK MY SCARF!" The one on the bottom step yelled.

"I DID NOT TAKE YOUR SCARF, PERCY! IT'S PROBABLY IN YOUR BACKPACK OR SOMETHING!" Remy yelled back.

"I CHECKED THERE ALREADY!"

Roman groaned. "OH MY GOD YOU TWO, COULD YOU, LIKE, NOT YELL?"

Remy and Percy both turned to Roman. "YOU'RE YELLING TOO!" They shouted in unison.

Virgil snorted as Roman facepalmed. "Percy, stop blaming Remy for stealing your scarf. I'm sure it's just in your painting bag or something."

Percy grumbled something and stomped up to his room. Two minutes later, he said, "Oh, I found it..."
