Nightfall had finally came. I got up looking through the small window with metal sticks in it seeing how the moon shined brightly. I looked down at my white dress that Areo gave me it was simple but I loved it, it smelled good and I noticed it had a hint of his scent on it. Mmmm.
I giggled to myself for my odd reaction to the smells that surrounded me, my eyes traveled even more down meeting my pale and redish wrists, my flesh still stinged a bit from the cold air but at least it was better than the burning feel with the cuffs on. It feels so good to be unchained and to walk around the room even if it was a small space it was perfect. During the time I waited for Areo to arrive, I practiced using my feet and legs, when I tried for the first time I couldn't stand I would fall and stumble about looking like a baby deer... I think. But now I can stand and walk around a bit, trying to pick up the pace for short moments.
Ssssssshhhzzz
My head snapped to the direction of a sudden light sound, looking for where it came from my eyes lit up with Areo standing just a few feet away from me, the moonlight shone on his nice face. In this soft light his once dirty blonde hair looked like it was shining gold, the bottom brown, while the top where like sparkles of gold. His honey green eyes lit up to a more darker green as they stared right back at me. Taking just a few steps he was infront of me looking at me with care.
Taking one of my hands he smiled and said the words that brought me back to reality and made my heartbeat go faster.
"Are you ready to be free?"
I nod as he started pulling me towards the door. While talking to me in a hushed tone making sure no one heard us.
"We've got to hurry, we don't got much time okay?" I only nodded
"Good. We only got 20 min to get as far as possible from here so you better be ready." I stared into his eyes as they were clouded in fear. I knew that what we were going to do would cost us our life.
"Rule one missy. Be as quite as you can be if possible don't make a sound. Rule two whatever happens do what I tell you to do got it." Again I replied with a nod. And with that he opened another door that led us out of the cellar and into a huge white room, that sparkled under the moon's bright light. I just stared in awe but then I was interrupted by a sudden movement, being swept up into the air. My face clashing against something warm and hard, opening my eyes, Areo held my in his arms as my face was pressed against his chest.
Covering me with his jacket that he had on a while ago, quietly and with a fast pace he started walking out of the house. My heart beating fast and hard, as we were getting close to the exit. After what seemed forever hearing some sounds and Areo doing strange movements he took his jacket off of me and it was showed unto me a sight so beautiful that it would be hard to forget.
Fresh air entered my lungs as the sweet scent of flowers came to my nose, a big body of water from what Areo told me it was called a lake sparkled under the light, the dark green grass swayed softly as it also looked like it glow. Once again I was brought back to earth when Areo started to run like if there was a monster behind him. Going at a pace that I think I could ever go.
The cool air hitted my face as I just smiled, feeling excited and happy I hope this moment never ends. I looked up to see Areo as he held a serious face but then he looked back down at me showing me his bright white teeth, then again payed attention to the path he was taking.
Looking back to what I could see infront of me I couldn't help but giggle a bit. Areo had ran past a field, climbed a hill, until I could sense him going slower as we arrived to a place where there were many huge trees.
"It's called a forest." said Areo, it seemed like he read my mind, putting me down but not letting go of my right hand as we started walking inside the dark forest.
