Y/n's P.O.V
'Where am I?' I growled as I pulled my hair in frustration. 'I may have a horrible sense of direction, but this is just ridiculous!' Why am I mentally yelling? Well I was on my way to find Naruto. Easy right? It would have been if it weren't for the fact no matter which direction I walk I just end up back where I started. 'You know what? I'm just going to scare this tree with a kunai and then I will know if I am really walking in circles.' I smiled at my idea and pulled a kunai out of my bag.. er satchel? Eh, whatever it's called. I marked a small 'x' on the tree and started walking again.
"Are you kidding me!?" I yelled flailing my arms as I found myself in front of that same tree after a good ten minutes of walking. 'Okay, (Y/n) think. What, besides my bad navigation skills, would explain this?' I sat down against the base of the tree. 'Maybe genjutsu? This is similar to what happened in the Forest of Death...' I slouched against the tree. 'If it is genjutsu then how am I supposed to free myself?' I formed the hand sign focused hard, attempting to channel all my chakra into my hands. "Genjutsu release!" I yelled. When I reopened my eyes I found the world around me cracking, shattering to reveal that I was standing in front of the posts, where Naruto was tied up. "I did it! I freed myself! Take that people that thought practicing hand signs was weird and a waste of time!" I yelled doing a victory dance as he looked at me probably weirded out by my 'awesome' dancing. Just then the timer ran. 'Wait a minute... I... didn't... get... a... bell...' I groaned in frustration.
"Times up!" Our sensei's voice rang through the forest. The rest of us lined up infront of the posts. "I have decided not to fail you." Naruto and Sakura started celebrating, until Kakashi-sensei spoke again. "Instead I will be sending you all back to the academy."
"You can't do that, Sensei!" Naruto yelled, squirming in his ropes in protest.
"None of you have figured out my test. Why do you think your cell contains three ninja?"
"I... um well uh... teamwork?" I asked tilting my head.
"Correct, (Y/n). If you can't learn to work together how do you think you will do on missions. Fro example." He stood with his foot on the back of Sauke's head. "Sakura kill both Naruto and (Y/n) or Sasuke dies."
"No, Sasuke!" Sakura yelled out in distress.
"The heck did I do!" I added flailing my arms.
"That is exactly what could happen on a mission." He walked over to the timer. "At noon I will give you one more chance before I send you back to the academy." He handed us each a box of food, but pulled it away from Naruto. "None of you are allowed to feed Naruto. If you do you will fail instantly." He left to go... somewhere.
"Well then..." I muttered opening my food as I took a seat in front of Naruto, with Sakura to my left and Sasuke to my right. I was about to take a bite of my food when a growl interrupted me. I looked up to see Sasuke holding his food towards Naruto? I knew it would happen but it still suprised me.
"Sasuke, what are you doing!? If Kakashi-sensei sees you, he will send you back to the academy!" Sakura's protests were ignored.
"We all have to be at our best or we will never pass." He explained, picking up a bite of food and holding it out for Naruto. Sakura soon followed and so did I.
