Alex POV Well after that moment with him, i decided to call my best friend.
Ringing...
Mary: Hello? You: Hey! Are you free today? Mary: After you ignored my calls? My texts? And now you're gonna ask me if i'm free today?! You: woah chill gurl, i'm sorry about those day. You know that i'm a detective—
She cuts me off.
Mary: yeah?! And you know that i'm also busy with my kids! One of them broke another potion last night. Hector turned into a dog for 24 hours. You: woah, uhm. So you're not free today? Mary: i am actually. But i can't go outside of the house, i'm making a baby potion for one of my clients in Europe.
Well that sounds cool, but who would want to buy a fucking baby potion? What are they gonna do to that potion?!
You: sure, i'll come over! Mary: see ya then!
I hung up.
I started to change. I wore my pants, my oversize t-shirt and my coat. I grabbed my phone, gun because you never know. My handbag and went downstairs to see Dad talking to Connor.
Looks like i'm in trouble.
Connor glances at me as i blushed. Goddamit Alex!
Dad looks at the direction Connor was looking, Which is me of course. I awkwardly waved at dad and gave him a smugly smile.
"Heyy dad" i said walking slowly towards them.
"Where are you going?" Dad asked "just gonna visit Mary, you know her dad. Her parents own a potion shop at Italy hehe" i explained as he glanced at Connor.
Connor just sits still on the couch, "bring your boyfriend with you" he said. I blushed hard.
"D-dad! He's not my boyfriend! Arghh!!" I stomped my feet as Sumo barks.
"Bring him with you" dad ignored what i said. I growled and messed my hair. I didn't notice Connor was already by my side, fixing my hair.
I gulped as i saw his eyes. I looked away and look at dad again.
"We'll be back before 9 pm dad" i said and went over to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Sure sweetie, just don't do anything stupid. Especially you Connor!" Dad pointed at Connor who was standing on the door, tilting his head.
"Bye dad! I love you!" I said and went to open the door. "Yeah yeah love you too sweetie!" Dad replies as I went outside, Connor closing the door.
