I sat down with a loud thump, and slung my bag beside me. A sigh escaped my lips. There was no way that I could ever jump from a building and survive. With the crazy girl maybe I could persuade her not to kill me, but its harder to convince the ground to not break my face. I looked down and laughed at my situation. Caleb would've jumped out of that window without a second thought. Was reasoning the only reason i said no?

The rushing footsteps echoed through the hallway. Dang, she's fast. A normal person would take an hour to find me. It only took her ten minutes. Has she been here before? No, that's impossible. This is such a small town, you would have needed to have grown up here to know the landscape of the town and this building. I have never seen her before; so, I guess that cancels out that possibility.

I flipped my brown bangs from my face. My heart pounded to the beat of the girl's feet. Pain radiated from my elbow when I moved it. Well this has turned out to be a fish flabby fantastic day!

Out of the corner of my eye, wisps of blonde hair gleamed in the sunlight. The smell of Suave shampoo mixed with iron filled the air. In front of me stood a girl about the age of 16. Her gray eyes looked like they held the world in them. When she walked towards me her converse boots squeaked. She bent down to look me in the eye and smiled.

I opened up my mouth, about to bargain for my life, when the girl just started crying.

"Anthony," she said between sobs. "Anthony, it's me Iris. Don't you remember?!" She held her hand up to my face and I flinched back. She pulled back from me and rummaged through her side pouch to look for something. With shaking hands she took out a letter and put it in my hands. "Please, please try to remember." And with that she turned and went out the window. I quickly stood up and looked through the window frame. Her body wasn't lying down there in a bloody mess, in fact she wasn't anywhere to be found. Can everyone jump out of a window except for me? More importantly who was that chick? And how the heck does she know me?

I looked down at the yellowed envelope in my hand. Lifting the flap carefully I peered inside. What was this?
