I stood in front of the people staring at me. Caleb? Drift? What's next? A short blonde girl came up to me and looked up and down then sniffed. She whispered something into Emma's ear. Emma laughed loudly and it echoed through the room.
"Yeah Chris," Emma snorted," he is disappointing, isn't he?" Chris yawned and tilted her head to the right.
"Can you tell me why I'm here?" I asked a little annoyed.
"Come on, you just got here and we haven't seen each other in forever." Emma clapped her hand on my back then whispered," that is something to talk about in private. I will see you in a few minutes and we will talk." She pushed me forward towards two men, one who was tall and slender with greasy black hair and the other who looked like every day was upper body day, this man looked like he could break your head in half with just his pecs."Please take him to get changed and then send him to my quarters, Andrew and Kyle." They nodded and walked towards a long, dim hallway. I walked behind them and stated formulating plans for an escape, but all of them wouldn't work unless mister gorilla over there was gone.
Before I knew it we came up to a large doorway with blue light radiating over it. The tall greasy guy typed in a code to the multicolored keypad beside the door and with a loud grinding sound, the door moved away exposing a large room that had padded walls, no Windows, and blood stains in the corner next to the bed.
"This is the first time anyone has been in your room since you have left. It sure brings back memories." The tall greasy man had an oily voice to match his hair. He pushed me into the room and gave a deep sigh. "So you really don't remember anything? Not all the rough times we had together, the laughs, the cries, the nights when we couldn't bear anything any longer but we kept at everything?" Tears formed in his eyes as he started to yell at me," You forgot all of that?! You forgot us?! That traitor Caleb took you away from us?! Now you don't remember a thing..." he wiped his eyes and sniffed. He walked over to the bed and pulled out a drawer underneath then brought out white clothes from inside. He got up and pushed them into my chest and with a gruff voice he whispered, "Just change..." and with that he walked out of the room.
I looked at the initials on the white polo shirt. A. W. I traced the blue letters with my finger. This all seemed familiar, but like a distant dream from the past.
Gorilla man and I walked down the hallway and into a never section of the building. The white polo itches my neck, but I left it alone. I didn't want anyone to see my hands shaking, so I kept them hidden in the pockets of my white trousers. In time a door with a soft red glow appeared before us. Gorilla placed his hand on the door, and it slid open. Emma stood in the center of a room that was the mirror opposite of the one we were just in. This one was full of color and had large windows out looking a city that was not the town I was in before.
"Kyle, do get us some tea, I'm feeling rather parched," Emma said with a flashy smile. Th gorilla man left the room and left me and this strange woman all alone. "I hope Kyle wasn't to boring to talk to. After all the poor thing is mute." She pouted her lips in a fake frown. " I Know you are most likely wanting to know what happened and why you have no memory of anything, but that will have to wait until after tea."
