Arsinoe smiles widened when she saw Ivan coming towards her with two ice creams on his hands.

❝Sorry miss natagalan.❞He kissed her forehead before giving her the ice cream.

❝Hmp! Don ka sa chics mo.❞He smiled before pulling her into a tight hug.

❝I love you so much miss and yoy know that, I can sacrifice my life for you.❞Her anger vanished, he kissed her forehead once again.

Arsinoe ignored the people staring at them. She's happy with Ivan, her Knight in shinning armor, he makes him feel safe and loved.

She couldn't imagine her life without cold in it.

❝Mom? I'm going out with Ivan.❞Arsinoe smiled happily at her mom who was making pancakes.

The plate fell on the ground, it shattered into small pieces as it hits the floor.

❝Arsinoe!❞Her mom's horrified reaction confused her.

❝W-why? What's wrong? Mom?❞Her mom dragged her back to her room angrily.

❝Mom stop! Ivan is waiting for me outside we are going to visit his parents.❞Her mom let go of her when they reached her room.

❝Arsi, I'm sorry baby...❞Arsi became more confused when her mom started crying while cupping her face.

❝Mom stop it I'm going Ivan's waiting for me.❞She was about to stand up but arsi's mom locked her inside.

❝Mom!❞She started banging the door but her mom ignored her.

She heard a knock at the veranda when she opened it, she saw him.

❝Ivan!❞She hugged him tight, Ivan wrapped her arms lovingly at her.

❝Hindi ako pinalabas, mom's crazy! I mean why? She adores you so much and--❞He kissed her forehead.

❝Sshh... It's okay I'm here now miss, hindi kita iiwan..❞She smiled in relief, her body calms down when Ivan is around.

❝I love you Ivan..❞she mumbled sleepily, she can feel her eyelids shutting down.

❝I love you too miss, until eternity always remember that.❞It was the last thing I heard before drifting off to sleep.

Arsi woke up when she felt someone talking.

❝Ivan?❞She rubbed her eyes.

❝Baby...❞Her mom cupped her face, she saw another guy and her daddy.

❝Dad! What are yoy doing here?❞Her dad and mom are separated so it's rare for her dad to visit their house.

❝Where's Ivan? Mom you told him to leave?❞She tried to find cold in the room but he wasn't there, she panicked.

❝Ivan is your deceased boyfriend arsi.❞She frozed when she heard what the stranger said.

❝Deceased? No! Ivan is alive! Ivan is waiting for me!❞her mom hugged her.

❝He's outside mom! He's waiting for me it's our 8th anniversary!❞Arsi's heart sanked.

❝He's dead arsinoe, you don't remember? You were walking on the street after work with Ivan, a gang followed you.

❞Like a lightning her memories of that night hit her.

She remembered how Ivan fought the group who tried to harm her.

She remembered his voice yelling at her.

❝Run arsi! Don't look back! Run!❞She started sobbing.
She remembered the gunshots, she remembered seeing his body lifeless and covered with blood.

At the back of her head a voice was saying.

❝I'm waiting for you outside miss..❞She ran outside, she saw him.

Ivan was smiling at her, she continued to run to him and hugged him.

❝Why! You promised! You promised you won't leave me behind you asshole!❞She cried as she punched his chest.

❝Ssshhh stop crying miss.. I love you and I promised to protect you even if I risk my own life... It was worth it... You are worth it.❞Ivan dried her tears using his thumb.

❝Now arsi let me go, let go of the pain... Let go of the past... But don't forget me.❞She cried hard as Ivan starts to fade.

❝I love you miss...❞One last time she saw his smile, at that moment she let him go.
