“Parting”

I opened my eyes and stared at the wall clock, it says 6:00 am.

I sighed before glancing at the girl peacefully sleeping on my arms, a tear escaped my eyes realizing that 2 hours from now I'm leaving her again.

“Sorry my love, sorry wala pa tayong option sa ngayon.”I kissed her forehead tenderly.

Yeah, that's life I have to be far away from her to have a good future.

“Hmm.. van.. sorry I woke up late maliligo lang ako—”She was about to get up but I hugged her tightly.

“I'm going to miss you so damn much love..”I nuzzled my face on her neck.

“Same here love..”Then my heart broke when I heard a sob from her.

“Bumalik ka agad ha?”I nodded, while stopping myself from crying.

“Uuwi ako sayo, like what I always do love, just wait for me..”I cupped her face before kissing her tenderly.

“Love, check your passport and ticket.”I obeyed.

“Check love.”I held her hand before kissing the back of her palm.

“Ingat sa byahe love.”She hugged me.

“I will ikaw din.”I kissed her before hugging her again.

“Sige na love pumasok ka na.”I cupped her face while looking at her eyes.

“I love you.”She bit her lower lip.

“I love you more love.”She smiled painfully before walking away.

Pumasok na ako sa loob, I stopped and glanced at her back.

8 more months to go my love and I can hold your hands again, I can hug you again, cuddle you again, kiss you and be with you.

“I'll hold on to the precious memories we made love, wait for my return.”I smiled weakly before I continued walking.
