One year after the wedding...
I was playing with the kittens that I had volunteered to foster. Me and Loki were given our own floor in the avengers tower so it was easier to get in contact when we were needed on missions and it had everything we needed but it was still dull sometimes when it was just me, Levi and Loki. Plus I loved caring for the creatures of earth so it was a win win on both sides. I had been busy these past few days because of the kittens. I had to make sure that they were all well fed and that they were all healthy.
I hadn't slept at all these past few days and I started to feel tired but I couldn't take my eyes off of the kittens. I haven't had time to rest or even spend some time with Loki and I kind of missed him. "Meow meow!" the kittens cried out and I was immediately on high alert. I grabbed the kitten formula and fed them all by hand then I sat back on the couch and watched as they crawled and played. I sighed as my eyes started to droop. Levi walked up to me and rested his head on my lap worriedly. I gently petted him as I fought the urge to sleep and tried to keep my eyes open. He then went on the play with the kittens. He was the perfect big brother for them.
I sighed, it was a lot of hard work. It was like taking care of a baby. I considered taking a short nap because Levi was already busy with the kittens but then I felt a pair of arms wrap themselves under my shoulder. They pulled me up and off of the couch and I was jolted awake.
"That's enough of the kitties, it's my turn to have you" Loki whispered as he held me up by my arms like a cat. I flapped my wings gently then stretched and furled them up again.
"Alright *yawn*, I do need a break. What did you have in mind?" I asked after yawning. "Don't worry, I promise you won't regret asking me that" he said as he smirked. I flicked his forehead "Don't even think about it. I'm already tired as is. I don't have the energy." He chuckled then lifted me up higher so that our eyes were on the same level. "I meant just watching a movie while cuddling on the couch. What did you think I meant?" he said with a sly smile.
"I know you. You're the god of mischief after all, I'm right to assume what you were thinking just now" I smirked back at him. He sighed then he sat on the couch and placed me on his lap.
"Fine... you got me. Can you blame me? I haven't seen you in forever" he whined as he rested his chin on the top of my head and caged me in his arms.
"It's only been a few weeks. Don't exaggerate"
"I know, but it feels like forever to me. I missed you and I was worried that you were starting to lose interest in me" he turned his head down and away from me. I turned in his lap and straddled his thighs. I cupped his cheeks and made him face me. "Loki... I would never lose interest in you. Remember what you said to me the day of the party?"
"You are mine..." he mumbled as he played with my hair. "Yes... I am yours. I am your wife after all. So don't worry about such ridiculous things. I will never lose interest in you and I will never grow tired of you. We have the rest of our immortal lives to spend together so please don't be upset anymore" I kissed his forehead and he smiled widely.
"You are mine... Andrea, don't forget it"
"I won't. I love you, Loki of Asgard"
"I love you too, Andrea"

We had spent the whole day playing with the kittens. I went to the kitchen to prepare us both some hot chocolate because it looked like we were both gonna stay up all night tonight. When I was done, I went back to the living room and saw a scene that completely melted my heart. Loki was asleep on the couch and the kittens were all huddled up on top of his chest and inside his hoodie.
I giggled at the sight. They looked so peaceful and he looked so cute. I set the cup down on the coffee table and kneeled in front of Loki. I kissed his forehead and he smiled in his sleep. He groaned and gently patted his hoodie to calm the kittens down when they meowed.
"Hmm...Andrea? What time is it?" he mumbled. I gently rubbed his forehead and kissed his lips lightly. "Go back to sleep..." I whispered. He smiled and yawned "Fine..but wake me up after 5 minutes. It'll be your turn to sleep and my turn to look after the kittens" then he was out like a light.
"You've already taken care of them well enough. My strong and handsome cat dad." I giggled and he smiled in his sleep again.
I feel like the luckiest woman in the world. You really have made me the happiest and luckiest woman in the world.
I'm glad I met you, Loki and...I love you.
