"Shit..."
The buff cake before you gave a confused look, "Is something wrong?"
"Yes." You said plainly
In a frantic haze you shot your eyes about looking for another way out. You attention was drawn to a women at the back pointing to and emergency exit. You look back to massive mountain of a man then towards the front door. After a quick and silent deliberation with yourself you grabbed the wrist of the man.
"C'mon!"
Confused the man obliged allowing you to pull him out the back of the building. You shot your gaze around the back ally and let it settle on a maintenance ladder.
"Question, can you fly?"
"Well yes of course-" Before he could continue you cut him off
"Then c'mon." You stated quickly starting to climb up the metal ladder
The sirens soon enough hit its squealing peak meaning that the authorities had arrived. You rubbed your temples a little trying to soothe the pounding headache you were getting from the screechy sound. Looking back towards the blonde man as he finally climbed up onto the roof.
"May I ask why we aren't down with the authorities? You do know you're supposed to report the bad guys you've caught?" He said
You gave him a confused look, "No?? I'd get arrested??"
He in turn gave you a confused look, "Arrested?"
You went to respond then glanced down towards the street, "Just follow me and I'll explain."
With that you leapt of the building and took off into the sky. You cast the occasional glance back to insure that this giant mystery man was indeed following, which he was, soon enough you retuned to the billboard you had perched yourself on at the start of the night. You stretched your arms a little and turned back to the man.
"You get arrested for heroing?" He asked before you could speak
"Yeah? This is the media outcasted town." You stated rubbing your shoulder, "The 'Crazy Quirkless City' ya know?"
He raised a thick brow, "I don't."
You groaned, "The city that banned heroes!" You made a wild gesture, "The city that had a massive court case over this!"
He raised his brows surprised, "Oh.."
"So now people like me have to sneak around like lowly criminals." You huffed rolling your shoulders, "But I can't leave this place, cause who else will keep its stupid ass safe."
Sitting down you sighed looking over the bright lights of the city. The massive man sat down beside you causing the billboard to creek a little, which sent a sharp pang of anxiety through you, mostly just in fear of the board falling.
"So you'd call yourself a vigilante?" He asked
"I would call myself a hero, but the city has other ideas about what to call me, most of them crude." You chuckled a little
He placed a large hand on your shoulder, "So I assume you don't get much appreciation then?"
"You got that right, but there is the occasional 'thank you so much' and 'you're my hero'." A smile faintly slid over your lips
"Well I'll give you a large thank you for doing beyond your civic duty to help your community and keep your home safe." He flashed you a brighter grin
You chuckled softly, "That was corny as hell."
"Plus Ultra?" He chuckled
You rolled your eyes, "Sounds like that dumb saying those pro-heroes use."
"Well I guess that includes me." He stated
"heh. Never would have guess someone who is stacked as ridiculously as you would ever chose to be a hero." You laughed rubbing your sore forearm, "But it explains you not knowing the law here."
"Take a guess at who I am." He said
You rolled your head over to look him up and down, "I don't know. Not much information on pro-heroes here."
"All Might ring any bells?" He asked grin never leaving
Humming you pressed a finger against your face and pretended to think, "Maybe a few."
"Better than none being rung."
