Military Love

Chapter 4

I wake up the next morning next to Dalton. I face him and just look at him. How did I get so lucky?

"You know it's not nice to stare at people right?" He asks opening his eyes and turning to look at me. "I wasn't staring. 

"I wasn't staring." He rolls his eyes at me and smiles. "What do you want to do today?" Dalton asks wrapping his arms around me. "Lay here with you." I say kissing him. "I would love that, should we go to the store and get snacks real quick?" I nod and jump out of bed. 

"Babe you have to put some clothes on." I grab Dalton's shirt and my underwear from the floor and throw them on as I go get my clothes from my bag and head to the bathroom. 

"I'm going to shower real quick." "Can I join? You know to save water and all." Dalton says with a smirk on his face. 

"Fine but no messing around I'm kinda sore from last night." I say looking down embarrassed. "I'm sorry babe, I didn't mean to hurt you." "It's okay it felt good at the time." He smiles and picks me up and carries me to the shower.

After our shower, I throw on some under armor shorts and one of Dalton's t-shirts. Dalton put's on basketball shorts and a t-shirt 

"Hey babe, can we run to my house before we come back so I can get some more clothes?" I ask Dalton as we get into his truck. 

"Yeah, that's fine, do you want to stop there before or after we go to the store?" He asks starting the truck. "Before, if that's okay with you?" He nods and starts driving towards my house. 

When we pull into my driveway I look at Dalton, "Don't say anything to my brother about last night okay?" He smirks and nods. We walk inside and Ajay is laying on the couch in just his basketball shorts. 

I run and jump on his stomach. "Jeez Maddie give me a little bit of a warning next time I just ate." I just laugh and get off of him. 

"What'd you guys do last night?"Ajay asks us sitting up. "Umm, you know just watched some movies." I said quickly. I don't want Ajay to find out because he'd freak. "Uh huh...okay." Ajay says skeptically. 

"West, just remember I know where you live and work." Dalton puts his hands up and gives Ajay a little smile. 

"Wheres, mom and dad?" I ask grabbing water out of the fridge. "They went to grandma's for the weekend to help her move some stuff around." Ajay says taking a HUGE drink of my water. 

"Okay well, I'm just grabbing some more clothes." I say walking up to my room. 

"Why don't you guys just stay here?" Ajay asks plopping back down on the couch. 

Umm, what do I say to that? I look at Dalton and he just kinda shrugs. Great now I need to come up with some excuse.

"Someone needs to take care of Bella." Dalton says. Thank God he came up with something. Ajay nods and goes back to watching TV. 

I grab some more clothes and we leave.
