Feels like Summer

School is finally over. The warm sunny breeze hits me when I leave the comfort of my cool home.

No more work to do, no more stressing over papers or book assignments, no more worrying.

Finally, some time for peace and quiet, time for me to be at peace.

Going out to parties, staying out till 3 am, or being safe and responsible and going back by 9.

Eating and outing out with friends, going to amusement parks, staying over at someone's house

It is not yet summer, for it's only been a week since we've been out. Everyone's ready to leave, finally done with finals, and waiting anxiously to get their last report card of the year. come crying about seeing their friends for the last time, others excited for what's to come for the next year. They're all so different.

It's finally the last day, everyone keeps saying their goodbye's, but they're also recording, for their memories. Some have already left, having planned beforehand their vacations, and others signing their yearbooks, or pieces of papers they stapled together last minuet.

Everything is said, nothing more can or will be done. Not unless they have contact or otherwise wait until next year.

I know not many people read my poems, and more so since I haven't updated this book in a very long time. But I finally got around updating it for maybe the last time, since it was only supposed to be for the spring, and around this time, fall is supposed to be starting. I've lost inspiration for writing, but I will always look for it where ever I go, plus my friend Jamie always encourages people, so I know she'll always be around to help.
