Chapter 8: Ocean Eyes

Y/n's P.O.V.

(Too lazy to write all the chats✌🏻😜)So I texted the boys today and Mackie is coming but not the others. I'm still excited though. I decide just to wait for him outside so I tell my parents and go outside the hotel. I see Mackie's moms car and he texts me not knowing I was here. He gets out the car and sees me and starts laughing, "Oh I didn't know you were there."I laugh too and we head inside. He jumps on my bed and I laugh. He turns around and sits down, "Keifer told me you can sing, is it true?"My eyes widen, "Ummm, I guess I can."Mackie then says, "Can you show me? Or do you want to sing with me?"I think for a minute before saying, "I'll just sing with you."Mackie smiles. He pulls out his phone from his pocket and opens the camera. Then Mackie lets me sing by myself and I get really nervous but keep going

We finish and I get so excited and hug him really hard. He laughs and ends the video. "Can I post it on Instagram?"He asks me. I nod, still very excited. He goes to Instagram and posts it. It immediately gets so many views, likes, and comments. "Let's read the comments!"He says and I nod. There were lots of comments asking who I was and saying I was a really good singer. I smiled at those comments. There were some hate comments but I didn't pay much attention to them. Until I saw one that made me boil in anger, "Wait! Wait! Wait! Scroll back up!"He did what I said and scrolled up a bit. The comment said that I was just using the TNT boys for fame. I quickly grabbed my phone and went to the post and replied to the comment, "Hi it's the girl from the video, I just want to say that I am not using my friends for fame. I actually knew Keifer before he told me he was famous. And I liked talking to him and enjoyed his company before he told me. I don't care how famous they are because famous or not I would still be friends with them. They are such great people that who wouldn't want to hang out with them, once again, famous or not?"I sent it and Mackie read it. He started tearing up but I didn't know he was reading it. "What? Is something wrong?"I asked him. He turned to me and showed me his phone with my comment right there. He goes to the camera and just stops and waits for a minute before he throws his phone down and lunges at me with a hug. I was surprised but I hugged back. "Ever since we became famous people have wanted to be friends with us but we already knew their plan before they even tried."He said. "How did you know I was different?"I asked him. "We didn't. We just had a feeling about you. That you weren't like all the rest."He told me. I smiled a lot and hugged him harder. "Thank you...for giving me a chance."He nods into the hug. "Thank you for being a true friend."I smile wider and keep hugging him. We hug for a couple more seconds in silence before he squeezes me one more time before letting go and I do too. "Oh haha."He says and grabs his phone. He wipes his tears and presses a button while I say, "What?"He smiles and looks up at me to say, "I was gonna record that little part to show everyone that you weren't using us for fame but decided not to and I'll just post a video of myself saying it but I think I accidentally hit the record button and recorded it anyway heh."I laugh. "Well I guess that is better that people will see it for themselves."He nods and posts it to Instagram. We smile at each other widely and hug again.

Keifer's P.O.V(Bet'cha didn't expect that MUHAHAHHA...I'll go home...)

I saw the things that Mackie and Y/n were posting and they were hugging a lot. Aww how cute. Ugh Y/n looks sooo cute in that video. She sings so well. Wow, she's amazing. My heart is beating so fast. It gets like this whenever I'm around her. She's just so awesome. The things she said in that comment made my heart flutter, I knew she was different right from the start. I just had this gut feeling, and I was right. I like this girl so much, and I don't think it's just as a friend anymore....
