The Moon

(I've totally not procrastinated for the past month.)

"Iceland, stay bright as the moon," I say, before charging towards Britannia. I grabbed hold of her wrists again, and when she tries to wrench it away, I take good hold of it.

"Binded in time, we shall go back in our past."

A flash of eere blue light, then...

"......"

Iceland opened his eyes slowly. Wait, when did his eyes close anyway? His throat throbbed so much, it even hurt to swallow his spit.

"Aw man." Came a voice. A thick British accent.

"Yeah. Aw man." Came another voice.

"Stop saying what I'm saying," the same British accent said. "Look at the state all of them are in!"

Iceland closed his eyes again. All he could see was bright, white walls anyway. His eyes hurt. His arms hurt. His legs hurt. Everything hurt. He didn't know why, but he felt that something had gone wrong before–before he woke up...

"Shit, Britannia!" Iceland screamed, bolting upright. He opened his eyes cautiously. Near him was England and Romania. Greece, for once, was awake beside them. His cats were gone.

"Iceland, you okay?" Romania asked, bending over. "You're the second to wake after Greece. I guess Greece became so used to sleeping that he woke up in time for once."

"We were... Sleeping?" Iceland asked.

"Well, the force as the time loop opened with the azure light that was omitted with it led you to something near sleep. You see, the azure light is the form of the brightest light you can see within the universe, so, of course, as Homo sapiens–wait no, as nation Homo sapiens, we were bound to be effected within the very boundary of the light, as the force, the nutrients, and the the numerous atoms inside it were released into the atmosphere–"

"Speak English, please. That would be very much appreciated."

England pushed Romania over.

"So, blue light, bam, we were knocked over, time out. Well, more like, time gone."

Somebody coughed. "Time gone?" It was Japan.

"Well, The Time opened and, uh, swallowed some of us. More like–one of us."

Silence.

More silence.

Iceland stared at Greece, who just came over. Japan scooted up alongside England, who helped Iceland up–Romania just looked away. Countries were stirring all around–but they didn't wake–yet. He guessed that everyone would fall into silence if they were left in a room with sleeping bodies around them. Nobody talked for a while. This atmosphere wasn't awkward, nor filled with tension. In fact, it was more like... Dreadfulness. Like something bad–no, something terrible was going to happen. Like the quiet before a huge storm.

"Who was it?" Iceland asked quietly.

"Woah, woah, wait." Greece interrupted. "This isn't like, one of us is gone forever, right?"

-------Iceland's POV-------

"Woah, woah, wait." Greece interrupted. "This isn't like, one of us is gone forever, right?"

"Who was it, you ask?" England said. He then nodded at Romania to continue. After returning England's nod, Romania opened his mouth to speak.

"Uh, like, Norway–"
