Katherine grinned as she gracefully walked into the house Taliyah was using, she was surprised to find the said girl lounging on the couch laughing at the TV since she was sure that Taliyah despised the magical box as she called it.

"I thought you hated the TV" Katherine stated as she walked around the couch to sit down.

"So did I, but this thing is pretty good" Taliyah answered.

Katherine glanced at the TV and saw that the show "Friends" was on, she sighed and turned to look at the girl, "For the tenth time it's called a TV show and this one in particular is called Friends" She tried to explain once more.

With Katherine as her only ally right now, Taliyah had no choice but to let the younger vampire teach her as much as she could about the new century.

"Yes yes" Taliyah dismissed her with a lazy wave of her hand as she sat up and turned off the TV, "So tell me has there been any news about the suicide plan?" She asked interested to know just how far these kids were going to go with their plan.

"Well Damon called, asked me to be Elena for the night" Katherine said and she chuckled.

"Of course he did, if I was him I wouldn't want her anywhere near there, which is perfect actually because now you are going to be in the perfect position to cause a distraction"

"You really have it all planned out?" Katherine asked.

"Of course I do, who do you take me for, I told you before, I plan things while on the run" Taliyah explained.

"How can you do that?"

"It's easy, my main goal for the night is to keep Klaus alive, and kill Mikael, that's the main plan, everything else are just like little plans, like how I plan to do it, or how will you cause a distraction, my main plan doesn't change but my little ones do, so you always have to keep them flexible enough for a change" She answered with a shrug of her shoulders.

"So we're all set then because the Homecoming is tomorrow night"

"Yes, of course we're set"

"You know you can't go dressed like that right" Katherine told her suddenly causing Taliyah to look at herself.

"I see nothing wrong with these clothes"

"But I do, jeans, and a t-shirt don't really say homecoming, plus you would stand out too much" Katherine explained.

"All right then, what should I wear?"

"You leave that to me, I'll bring you a dress tomorrow"

"Thank you for that, now has Nik arrived yet?"

"No, as far as I know he arrives tomorrow"

"Good, good" Taliyah said with a small smirk.

The next day Katherine got to the house early in the morning to help Taliyah get ready for the Homecoming that was happening in the evening, seeing as the older girl had no knowledge of today's makeup and hairstyles.

"Am I supposed to wear this?" Taliyah asked confusion clear in her voice as she looked at the dress that Katherine brought her. The dress was pure black, long with a slit from her from just under her hip to the end of the dress, it had two thin straps that created an x on her back. The dress wasn't ugly, but it was something that she definitely wasn't used to. She never thought that girls would dress like this.
