Believe it or not!! I actually get this a lot when I tell people "I plan on being a lawyer/attorney."

But there's two people that stand out to me the most when I think about this SPECIAL subject.

(Did you see my sarcasm?! Yay new!)
Let's start with what KIND of lawyer do I want to be.

I want to be a Family Attorney, so the cases I'll be working on are;
Divorce)
Child custody)
Abuse/Neglect)
Adoption)
Fostering)

For awhile I was thinking about Criminal Justice, but after awhile I voted against it and Family totally won me over!

And here's why!

I've known a lot of abuse victims and I have the view of the victim's POV and It touched me in a way I don't think I would want anybody else but me to help them. Like of course I want people to help but I'm more passionate about helping them!
I'm also was fostered an adopted and I know a lot of Anthony adoptees and my parents being the people who adopted me. Didn't have enough resources during adopting, and I really want to change that! Because adoption is the most amazing this and so beautiful!!
Fostering can be tough, my heart has always been toward foster care and if being involved in helping someone foster. I'll surely do it!
I also knew a wife who was being abused at home and needed a divorce.
Now, to be clear I do not support divorces but in dire situations like that. I was helping and if anyone needed help out of a disgusting situation. I was gonna do it!
So in short.
I have lots of experience in those situations.
And I'm more motivated to help them than ever.

I've seen the damage people can do and also the healing of loving parents can do. And I want to be honored to help people to heal and get away from toxic people.

So. Yeah.
That's why I want to be lawyer.

call if you're being abused in anyway! May it be neglect, verbal, physical, sexual or psychological abuse!! Don't let fear hold you back from calling.
