I knew I was far from your typical billionaire's son. You'd expect a playboy with many friends and girlfriends, considering I was rich and attractive. Birthday party would usually mean a party with alcohol, girls, tons of guests, pool, DJ, you name it. However, this billionaire's son's a loner with a couple of friends and birthday party was only a dinner in a fancy restaurant.

However, I couldn't stand all the people getting close to me, just because they knew that I was my dad's son. At some point, I felt like, I could never be myself, I would always be known as 'the son of the CEO of Samsung'. They would never regard me as Yoo Kyungwan, a Korean teenage boy.

When I was younger, my dad would only come home to see me during my birthday. He would throw a grand birthday party, inviting all of his business partners, workers, celebrities and more. I thought he genuinely wanted to see me and celebrate my birthday with me, but as I grew older I realized, it was part of business. It was used to establish connection with all of those people. I became angry and when I reached 14, I realized enough was enough. So, no more grand birthday parties for me and no more daddy coming home for me.

The moment we arrived home, Nayeon noona dragged me to the garage and I noticed it. A new car had been parked there, and not just a regular car, mind you, but a sweet BMW M4. The silver paint was shining. I couldn't help but smile.

"This will be your car as soon as you master driving!" Nayeon noona said.

'Man, I wish I could drive soon!' I thought in my head.

As soon as I got to my room, I went to shower and changed into a T-shirt and a pair of shorts. After that, I decided to open the gifts Dahyun and Tzuyu gave me. Dahyun gave me an Xbox, pretty cool if you ask me and Tzuyu gifted me a Gucci jacket, this girl and her Gucci obsessions. She even named her dog Gucci.

Next morning at school, everyone at school kept giving me gifts, which I just took from them. I mean, it's gifts, why not? However, at some point, it was too much. I told them to just give it to my driver. As soon as I got to my class, I sat at my seat and on my table was a grey beanie.

When Mina noticed I was staring at it, she quickly said, "For you, I hand knitted it!"

I widened my eyes in shock. She hand knitted it! Dude, this was the best gift ever. I couldn't believe that she was willing to put that much effort, knitting a beanie for me. It was very simple, but the simplicity was what made it so special. I quickly tried it on. Mina squealed. She took out her phone and took a picture of me.

"You look so cute!" she exulted.

I blushed.

"You've been so quiet, do you like it or not?" she nervously questioned.

I decided to tease her a little bit.

"It's ugly!" I coldly said.

She quickly frowned and her eyes were watery like she was about to cry.

"Well, I'm so sorry if it's ugly!" she lamented, trying to hold her tears.

"I'm just kidding, of course I love it, Mina. I wouldn't wear it if I didn't like it. This is honestly the best gift I've received in my life. I can't believe you put that much effort for me! Thank you Mina!" I chuckled.

She smiled after hearing my compliment then softly slapped my arm.

"I was about to cry, you know. I spent like 3 hours or so, knitting that" she whined.

"You really spent that many hours knitting?" I asked, shocked.

She nodded her head cutely.

"Man, I feel bad, let me treat you right! How about I treat you to a restaurant?" I asked.

She smirked.

"Yoo Kyungwan, are you taking me out on a date?" she boldly asked, playfully wiggling her eyebrows.

I could feel my ears and cheeks redden.

"W-what? I-I just wanna t-treat you!" I stammered.

She chuckled.

"I'm just teasing you." she retorted.

Geez, this penguin.

Lunch break came, I quickly took out my lunchbox and ate it.

"You said you wanted to treat me!" she said.

"Yeah, at a restaurant!" I replied.

"We don't need to eat at a restaurant, just buy my lunch today!" she requested.

"Fine" I complied.

She did her little celebratory dance and I followed her to the cafeteria. We arrived at the table we usually ate at.

"Guys, lunch is on Kyungwan today!" Mina announced.

I widened my eyes.

"Really?" Jeongyeon plus her five friends asked in sync.

Mina cutely nodded. I face palmed.

"Then, what are we waiting for?" Jeongyeon asked and she and the rest went to choose their food.

I heaved a sigh in defeat.

After I paid and we got to our table again, Jeongyeon, the crazy shikshin, shamelessly ordered 3 portions of meals. It's hard to believe where could she be storing her food. I just ate my lunchbox, while sulking.

"Thank you, Kyungwan!" Jeongyeon's 5 friends thanked me.

I just gave them a fake smile. Surprisingly too, this shiksin didn't just eat a lot, but also ate very fast. She finished her food already. I wasn't even done yet with my food, almost there, not quite yet.

"I want a dessert!" she blurted

I looked at her in shock, she ate three portions of meals and still wanted a dessert?

"What? You said you wanted to treat us! Treat us properly then!" she smirked.

I clicked my tongue.

"Attention to all 11th graders, next week we will be going on a camping trip for 5 days and 4 nights! This is a mandatory camping trip, any student, who doesn't participate without a valid reason will be punished! Thank you for your attention!" We heard the school radio announce.

"Wow, a camping trip! I bet it will be exciting!" Mina gushed.

"Wait, till you see the bathroom, be prepared not to shower for 5 straight days!" Yeri retorted.

"True that!" Jeongyeon confirmed.

"And also, don't forget bug repellent! You're gonna really need it!" Joy added.

"OK, I'll take note!" Mina said.

Mina turned to me and asked, "You're coming, right?"

"Of course not!" I replied.

"What? Why not? Cause you're sick in the head?" Jeongyeon sneered.

I frowned. I just treated her and this is what I got in return? I sighed.

"But, why are you not joining? Are you ill?" Mina softly asked.

"No, I just don't want to!" I nonchallantly answered.

"You will get punished!" Mina exclaimed.

"I'll bribe a doctor!" I replied,

"What? That's absurd! I won't let that happen! I'll tell a teacher now!" Mina angrily protested.

"Go on! Who do you think will they believe, a doctor or a high schooler?" I challenged her.

Mina could only pout.

"Geez, I thought you changed for a second!" Jeongyeon commented in disgust.

"Let's go guys!" Jeongyeon said and she and her 5 friends left.
