Mina's POV

When Kyungwan rushed to leave, I tried to follow him, but he was as fast as lightning. So, I washed the dishes instead. After doing the chore, I headed to our room, the room three of us shared together. Well, our room was very small for three people, and I knew that sometimes at night, when I studied and turned on the light. Sana onee-san couldn't really sleep because of it. However, I was still grateful. It brought the three of us closer together anyway.

Now, it was just the two of us in our room, me and Sana onee-san. Maybe Momo one-san was on the rooftop, practicing dance moves, as she worked as a dancing instructor. Sana one-san was drying her hair and I was choosing some books to take to my tutoring sessions later.

"The cutie's your friend?" I heard Sana onee-san asked.

I rolled my eyes at the question. This Sana onee-san, she flirted at every guy she came across, even guys way younger than her, like Kyungwan.

"Don't hit on him, Sana one-san!" I chastised.

Sana one-san pouted.

"Oh, come on, he's cute" Sana one-san pleaded with puppy eyes.

I clicked my tounge.

"Anyway, He's a new student in our school, my seatmate. I thought he was a troublemaker at first, because he refused to bow to teachers, and I've never seen him take out any book from his bag, but turned out he's pretty nice, he brought me home today." I dreamily answered.

"You're smiling like an idiot. You have a crush on him, don't you?" Sana one-san pointed out.

I felt my cheeks burn.

"W-what? We just met like yesterday?" I whined.

"There's this thing called love at first sight, you know." Sana onee-san stated the obvious.

Did I really have a crush on him? I looked at the clock and realized, I needed to leave immediately, if I wanted to reach the tutoring place on time.

"Sana onee-san, It's 7:30, I need to go, bye" I bid my farewell.

"Alright, be careful!" Sana onee-san chirped.

I then left to go to the tutoring place.

The next day, as usual we had breakfast together, except for Momo onee-chan. She probably taught in the afternoon today. After we ate breakfast, we all, except for my mom, went to the bus station together to take the bus to each of our destination, my dad to the company he worked in, Sana onee-san to the company she worked in and me to school.

After I arrived at school, I quickly headed to my locker. Usually, it would be filled with love letters, but somehow today there wasn't any letter. I shrugged it off, they probably got the idea already that I wasn't interested in dating at the moment. My goal currently was only Seoul National University. If I could be first in my class for 3 years in a row, I could be accepted there without taking the entrance test.

I took some books I needed from the locker then closed it. I was about to turn around but someone tapped me so suddenly whilst shouting, making me shriek in shock. I turned around to be met with Jeongyeon, my prankster friend. She was one year older than me. However, she was still my only friend in this school.

"Jeongyeon, you scared me." I whined.

That's right, I didn't call her unnie. That's because she told me to just call her her name, so she didn't feel old. What an oddball, but I still loved her.

"You should've seen your face, you looked so funny" she said in between her laugh.

I pouted.

"Anyway, let's go, I'll accompany you to class. Don't forget lunch at the cafeteria as usual" she instructed.

I just nodded and we walked side by side to my class.

"Aigoo, you should make some friends, you know. How come, I'm the only friend you have, that's so weird. I'm graduating soon, you know." she nagged me.

However I knew she nagged me because she cared about me.

"Well, I have a new seatmate" I bragged.

"Really? What's she like, is she nice?" Jeongyeon questioned.

"It's a he" I corrected her.

"His name is Yoo Kyungwan, the son of the CEO of Samsung. He's pretty nice, he brought me home because it was raining yesterday." I dreamily explained.

"Yoo Kyungwan, the son of the CEO of Samsung." Jeongyeon trailed.

"WAIT, SO WHAT MY DAD SAID WAS TRUE? HE'S REALLY ENROLLED HERE?" she shouted.

"Yah, why are you shouting? Everyone's looking at us" I griped.

"That's my cousin. We don't get along though. His dad never attends any family gathering, it was always him and his maid. We were close when we were younger but when he was older, he started to be arrogant. He stopped attending family gathering

"I pity him because his mother died when he was only 2, but i couldn't stand his personality. I thought he would be different from his father, but of course like father like son.

"My dad told me to help him get along. Psh, never, never in a million years. Why should I help a spoiled brat like him?" Jeongyeon told about her cousin.

"You guys are family? Well, guess the richness runs in your genes. You're rich too. Your father owns a restaurant." I pointed out.

"I wouldn't say we're rich, we're comfortable. We only own one restaurant, it's not like we own many branches. What matters is we value family, unlike Kyungwan's family." Jeongyeon groused.

After we reached my class, Jeongyeon usually wouldn't get inside my class, but her eyes landed on Kyungwan, who was playing with his phone. Before I could stop her, she got inside and went to Kyungwan, I could only follow her.

"Hello cousin, do you even know I'm your cousin?" Jeongyeon sarcastically asked.

Kyungwan looked kind of shocked upon seeing Jeongyeon, but decided to ignore her. I grabbed Jeongyeon's hand to pull her out, but she harshly let go and grabbed Kyungwan's tie.

"I'm talking to you, Kyungwan" she seethed in anger.

I panicked.

'Oh no, will it get serious?' I bit my nails.

I was afraid they would fight.

"I don't have any business with you, Jeongyeon." he calmly retorted.

Jeongyeon laughed maniacally then sneered, "You don't even call me noona, huh and business, sounds very familiar, isn't it? Of course, this is your family we're talking about. That's all you and your father care about, right?"

She released her grip on Kyungwan and left my class. I could only keep silent. Kyungwan's face was flushed in anger. I took my seat and caressed his back, calming him down.
