The Misunderstood Yoo Chang Joon

Mina's POV
I'm now holding Kyungwan's hand, sobbing uncontrollably. Everyone was also sad. Kyungwan's grandparents decided to go home, as Jeongyeon's father insisted on them resting. Jeongyeon's sisters decided to accompany them. Then Jeongyeon approached me, "Eat please, you need to eat." She handed me a lunchbox. "I'm not hungry" I told her. She sighed. "You need to be strong for Kyungwan. He wouldn't want you to get sick, Mina" Jeongyeon advised me. She's got a point. So I started eating, even though I don't have appetite. Soon after there's a man barging in, he looked at Kyungwan, held his face, then kneeled to the ground and started crying. Jeongyeon's father stood up and comforted the man. "He's Kyungwan's father" Jeongyeon whispered to me. Then he started saying stuffs like, "I can't lose him too" "I'm a bad father" whilst crying in agony. "Changjoon, calm down, stop crying" Jeongyeon's father said whilst rubbing Kyungwan's father's back.

Soon after a nurse came in and said, "I'm sorry but visitting hours is over. You may come again tomorrow during visitting hours." So everyone prepared to go, but I didn't want to leave Kyungwan. I stayed put, but Jeongyeon dragged me. The same way with Jeonyeon's father, who's dragging Kyungwan's father away now.

I got into Jeongyeon's car. "Sleep over at my place tonight." Jeongyeon suggested me. I simply nodded then texted my Dad that I'm sleeping over at Jeongyeon's.

After we arrived at her house, she took a shower first, then I took a shower, I took longer because, today had been a really long day. I thought we would have a fun date today. I shouldn't have pressured him to come faster, This is all my fault. I really can't help but blame myself. I should've been patient. I was sobbing, then I heard a knock on the door. "Mina, are you done?" Jeongyeon asked me. I took a deep breath to try to sound normal. "A-almost" I mananged to answer. I quickly dressed myself. Then walked to the bed next to Jeongyeon's. Then I laid down.
I tried to sleep, but I just couldn't. "Jeongyeon, can you please cuddle me tonight" I requested. "Sure" she said then moved over to my bed to cuddle me. "Jeongyeon, will Kyungwan be fine?" I asked her. There was silence for awhile until she answered. "I know he's strong" Jeongyeon answered. Then I drifted to dreamland.

Nayeon's POV
I was sobbing silently. I might not be related to this kid, but I took care of him since he was born. Then a man barged in, looked at Kyungwan, held his face, then kneeled to the ground, and started crying. Boss? Wow. He actually visits his son. Now, I've always known how much he loves Kyungwan, despite not showing it. He always keeps track of everything that is going on in Kyungwan's life through me. I think because of that incident, you know his wife died. He blamed himself for it. He thought that he was a 'curse'. So, he thought if he simply watched someone from far away, nothing will happen. Yes, he kept all of his promises to Kyungwan, except that he didn't dare to show up in front of Kyungwan, simply watched him from the side. When Kyungwan got mad and pushed Jeongyeon that day, the only reason the driver drove away was because he saw Kyungwan's dad signalling for him to drive away.

The car that Kyungwan drove today was a present from Kyungwan's father, from my boss, but he told me to tell Kyungwan that I picked it. Heck, I don't know anything about cars. But, Kyungwan bought it. So, yeah, when Kyungwan was 14, Boss prepared a grand celebration for him. He was excited to see his son. But Kyungwan called him and said that he didn't want a birthday celebration anymore. So, Boss cancelled everything.

When Boss got called because of his constant fighting at school. Boss didn't want to come, because boss knew it's just an attempt to get him to come to see Kyungwan. Kyungwan will purposefully get into trouble so that the principal will call him. So he pretended that he was busy. I could tell he was heartbroken when he knew that Kyungwan smoked and tried drinking alcoholic drinks when he was 15.

When Kyungwan got expelled, I searched everywhere for a school, but it was hard to find a school for Kyungwan, because of his reputation. So, Boss supported the school Kyungwan goes to now financially. So he got accepted there. He was ecstatic too to know that Kyungwan made friends and even had a girlfriend. But, of course there were also friends that had bad influence on him.

Overall he's actually a sweet father, perhaps just too scared to face reality. Well, I hope Kyungwan wakes up soon. Because I think his father is ready to face him now. After he calmed down, I got into a car together with him. Minhyuk is driving.  I was in the passenger's seat. Boss was in the back passenger's seat. "Nayeon" he called me. "Yes, boss?" I answered him. "D-do you think I'm too late?" He asked me. It reminds me of Kyungwan when he's nervous. They both stutter when they're nervous. Like father, Like Son. "Let's hope not" I answered him.
