Later that afternoon, Alpha Chris and Madeline, went back to their pack. Margaret started packing up her fishing equipment, and went back home.
Her mother was in the kitchen, fixing dinner. She looked up, with a grin. "How was your fishing today?"
"Great momma. I caught thirteen fish. I also met my mate, and finally got my wolf." Margaret said excitedly.
"That's great dear. Go clean the fish up and put them in the deep freeze." Janice replied.
Margaret first went to her room, to put up her fishing gear. Then down the stairs and out the door she went, to gut and clean the fish. Sealing them in ziplock bags and stacking them in the deep freeze.
Afterwards, she fed the undesirable remains to the stray cats that wonders behind the house. When she went back inside, She went back upstairs, to take a shower. By the time she was done with everything, dinner was ready.
She went back downstairs, joining her family at the table. Dinner consisted of homemade chicken pot pie, boiled cabbage and poke salad. During dinner, Brent could not help but to notice there was something different about Margaret.
"So, what have you been into? There is something different about you." Brent said, causing their father to look up.
Margaret smirked. "I met my mate and got my wolf today."
Brent huffed at her, "You didn't get your wolf. your a human."
Alpha Mark finally spoke up. "Would your mate happen to be Alpha Chris?"
Margaret nodded at her father.
He then looked to his son, "Alpha Chris said something about finding his mate here. That both he and her experienced a force shift. He said it looked more like her first shift. So I believe her."
Brent's eyes went wide at hearing his fathers words. "But there is no way. I refuse to believe it until I see it."
"I am not about to go showing off my wolf just because you don't want to believe I finally have her." Margaret growled. She could also feel Whisper, growling at her brother. She also don't like to show off.
When Brent heard the now, more animalistic growl, coming from his sister, he put his hands up. "Okay. You win. I supposed that this means you will be joining us tomorrow night on our full moon run."
"Maybe. Don't know yet." Margaret answer
"What do you mean you don't know? You been wanting to go on those runs forever, but couldn't because you had no wolf. Now you got a wolf and you don't know? Where does that make any sense?" Brent all but shouted.
Janice finally joined in the conversation. "She might decide to spend tomorrow night with her mate Brent."
Mark nodded in agreement.
"Whatever." Brent huffed.
After dinner, Margaret went up to her room to lay down. Shoe found however, she could not sleep. Alpha Chris was on her mind and thinking about him was keeping her awake, until about three in the morning.
When her alarm clock went off the next morning, blaring the song, Carry On My Wayward Son, Margaret woke up with a headache. She reached over, turning off her alarm. she had to drag herself out of bed, and crawled to her bathroom. She filled her bathtub up with straight cold water and climbed in, clothes and all.
When she was finally able to get out of her bathtub, she went downstairs, still sopping wet.
Janice was yet again cooking for her family, Brent looked up and saw his sister. "So who let the wet dog in?"
Mark and Janice looked to their daughter, then Mark told Brent, "It happens when you meet your mate, but don't get to sleep next to them. Alpha Chris probably looks just as bad right now."

Chris's alarms goes off, blaring the song, Pour Some Sugar On Love. He reaches over and throws his clock out the window. The window was closed, so the sound of the glass shattering ended up waking Chris up with a jump.
He cursed himself under his breath, going into the bathroom. His pack got to the town in the late afternoon the day before. Enough time for everyone to decide where they were going to stay in the town. Of course as alpha, Chris got the biggest house, while everyone else chose a spot in the pack house.
He ran a could shower, actually getting stripped down first, before stepping in. When how got out, and dried off, Chris went to the pack house to check on his pack.
He sat down at the table, while the Females were preparing the packs breakfast. He saw his beta and gamma, come in the room. They took one look at him and the gamma blurted out, "damn man, you look like someone just ran you over with a steamroller."
Chris just glared at his Gamma, "Well damn Dwayne, you try sleeping without your mate and see how you look the next day."
"Oh, you mean that cute little late shifting peach on the river yesterday. Her wolf was huge."
Chris let out a growl at his gamma.
"I mean no disrespect, its just I never seen a female wolf that big."
Chris nodded his head in agreement. "Yeah, I am probably the only alpha in history whos mate got a bigger wolf than him."
Madeline came down the stair, with her nose in a book saying, "Not really Alpha Chris. It happens every thousand years."
Everyone looked as Madeline closed her book, setting it in front of Chris.
The cover said, The Grand Wolf.
"That's just a fairytale dear." Adam said.
Chris held up his hand. "Not necessarily. All fairytales' come from legends, and legends from truths. If it does happen every thousand years, that's long enough for people to stop believing in it."
Madeline chimed in again, "Have you been feeling any different alpha? Other then the no mate hangover?"
Chris shook his head. "Not yet, but we did only meet yesterday. I have read the book. According to the story, it may take a day or two before my changes start to happen. And until anything proves otherwise, I am not going to count out the possibility that she may be the prophecy wolf."
After that, the other females got done cooking, and brought breakfast to the table.
