Larry Stylinson- You're the one that I want

Chapter 10

Louis' Pov

The doors to the dining room opened. A slightly old looking man walked in followed by a pretty woman and another man. "Miss Georgina I trust Harry has taken care of you?" 

"Why yes thank you Mister Styles, he has been utterly delightful he will have to come to supper at our house. Mister Tomlinson has also been lovely." The man's eyes traveled to me, I saw Harry look down on the table. "Would you mind if we have a chat Mister Tomlinson, you know man to man." I excused myself and followed the man outside. 

"As you probably know I am Harry's father and recently his behavior hasn't been up to scratch, he told me you took him to a drag show?"

"Yeah he's really fun to hang out with."

"We don't 'hang out'  that's the thing I don't want you meeting up with Harry or coming over. Harry needs to be with people like us."

"What do you mean?"

"I don't want you or your little friends seeing Harry anymore."

"But I-"

"No buts now David please take this young gentleman out." 

I had no choice but to follow David to the door. 

I walked down the long drive and sat on the grassy bank at the side of the road. I pulled out my phone and called my mum. "Lou what's up?"

"Can you come and pick me up?"

"Where's your car?"

"At home, Niall dropped me off so can you pick me up?"

"Let me go and tell Lottie to keep an eye on the girls text me the address." 

I hung up and quickly text her the number and then I waited in the dark.

We got back to mum's place. We entered the house and she went to put the kettle on. "So why were you at the big house?" 

"Well you know that guy you had around for dinner?" 

"Mister Styles or the son?"

"The son, his name is Harry and we've been hanging out but his dad told me not to hang out with anymore as Harry needs to be in the company of people like them and not me and my friends."

"How rude he had no right to say that to you."

"Well I get where he's coming from, I'm just a high school drop-out with no job whilst Harry is still studying and then he's taking over a whole company."

"Don't put yourself down Lou." Mum said as she placed a cup of tea between my hands and sat down next to me. "Soon enough you will settle down with a partner be it male or female and you can go from there. Forget about Harry and his stuck up family and focus on yourself." 

"I might just do that remind me to look for a job tomorrow."

"That's the spirit love." She kissed me on the forehead, "I'm going up to bed i'll see you in the morning."

"Thanks mum."

"Night Lou."

"Night Mum."
