This week is spirit week and since the homecoming game is tonight, it's school colors day. I'm wearing my favorite black T-shirt, a pair of jeans, a grey sweater, and my school pride necklaces from last homecoming game.
During lunch Ava, Elizibeth, and I were taking pictures together and we ended up getting one with Some other guys, from the lunch table, too.
I struggle to get through my last couple classes and hop on the bus. There's Noah, all smiley and happy to see me. I wonder if he would wanna date me too.
When we were getting off the bus I was thinking about asking him out and then as if it just slipped out, I did it. I actually asked him out and he said yes. I don't know how to feel. I'm excited but I also can't help wondering what Chris will think. Did I ruin any chance I had with him? No! I never did have a chance, so I guess it doesn't matter?
I told my mom about it and she was excited for me as much as I was. "Olivia! Oh my god! My little girl is growing up!" She told me while she was hugging me. "What happened?" My younger sister, Alexa asks. "Olivia has a boyfriend!' My mom explained to her.
Now it's time for me to have a "counseling session" with one of my old friends for when I was younger. We kinda fell apart last year and this is our mom's hope to bring us back together. It went okay but I don't know how I expected it to go. After, I walked with her for a bit so we could talk alone. Walking probably wasn't the best idea seeing as she's in crutches. I told her about Noah because it was only an hour ago so it's still fresh in my mind.
"OH MY GOD REALLY?!"
"Yep!"
Tonight is the homecoming game and I'm disappointed that Noah isn't going but I know that I will have fun with Ava and her boyfriend.
When I arrived, I bought my ticket and headed over to see Ava. I told her the good news and she was so proud of me. I am too!
"So where is he?" She asked me.
It just made me feel bummed that he's not coming so I can finally hang out with him.
"Oh um he can't come tonight."
Shit here comes Elizibeth. I don't think I'm going to tell her just yet.
"HEYYYYY!"
Wow she has a bunch of energy.
"Hey what's up?"
Oh no. Oh no oh no oh no! Chris is here. And he looks so good. What am I doing to myself?I need to go somewhere else so I head to the concession stand with Ava and her boyfriend. He's in high school but honestly, I don't know what she sees in him. He's gross and annoying and- I wish I was with Chris. NO! I can't. I should just go home.
After the game I go home and lay on my white carpeted floor, next to my bed. I pull out my phone and wonder if I should text Noah. Nah, I should just go to bed.
