Chapter 11

I listened to her giggling and laughing running from my now hung over dad. He picked her up and spun her around. I leaned my face against the glass and sighed. Its weird. I bet he use to do that to me when I was younger. Well after I was tortured for scientific purposes. A warm hand touched my back

“You ready?”

I nodded at Michael knowing it was time to meet the zombie people again.

Screech.

I felt my head rush. Lloyd was pacing back and forth then sighed when he saw me.

“You made it.”

I sipped from the cup Michael placed in my hand. Hot cocoa. Thank you Michael.

Screech.

“Of course I made it. Where are they?”

He lead me threw the halls of the castle I spoke to some maids and butlers. I saw a few new faces with the Element users. The new comers adored me of course. Im not even really that special. He brought me to the farthest end of the castle a bunch of rooms. I entered a door watching a woman tied down to the bed. I hurried in irritated.”Why is she like this?”

“She was trying to hurt herself.”

I comforted her listening to all the emotions she was going threw. It was hard to listen to how much pain she was in. I wached the hand cuffs debating taking them off.

“Lloyd...”

He sighed and took off the handcuffs. She rubbed her wrist and covered her face with her bruised hands. I touched her and slowly healed her. Its really sad. How could they do this to people? I didnt even think the Dark Family was that bad just all depressing. Im going back there and I am going to beat the hell out of that old dude.

“I wanted to have a talk with you about this Ty.”

I turned my attention to Lloyd silencing my thoughts.”Yes?”

He grabbed my elbow and pulled me away from the bed.”Kory  and I have wondered if...we should delete their memories of everything.”

I stared intently at his face.”You mean make them like me?”

He nodded.”Only we make sure they cant get it back.”

Thats a tough thing to do. I mean....I would know the most. Having nothing in your head is really the worst. Meeting the people who know you and you have no clue is like a nightmare. I still dont understand myself now. Still they cant ever meet the ones that they love because they already killed them.

“Wouldnt they fall in love again and then the curse would ju-“

Lloyd cut me off.”No. The curse is completely withdrawn from their bodies.”

I frowned confused.”How?”

“Kory and you. Your power utilizes their emotions while Kory has the upper hand to switch the code going on in there heads. It takes the both of you. Kory has tried on his own to simply switch the code but its already in the body so it spreads. You cleanse the bloodlust.”

Me?”When I stare into their eyes?”I really hate eye contact. Its like you can see into someones soul. Makes you feel all naked. My head lurched. My body started tingling. What is this?

You finally realize.

Cuddles? What are you talking about?

Lloyd smiled sheepishly.

I waited going over what I had just thought. Ive always thought that. Thats why I avoid eye contact unless its Kory’s. I get stuck in his eyes. So why is it now...thats why.”I cleansed their souls didnt I?”
