Human perspective--AdrianSeeing her
I could hear a loud ringing that had me cringing as my shut eyes tried to pry themselves apart to cut off the source of disturbance. I searched my room for the alarm clock that should have been conveniently placed on my nightstand so I could hit the snooze button at least fifteen times. I stood determined to stop the horribly obnoxious noise. I finally managed to identify the area in which the alarm clock now hid. My closet at one point in time junky with clothes everywhere now seemed to have straightened itself so it could present the little alarm clock sitting on the carpet. I hit the button and noticed the time which was only 5:30 am. I sighed and knew what was going on. Normally I wouldn't be so confused but as of now he was simply tired and wanting to sleep again. At the realization of the situation adrenaline went threw my system. I shook his head and almost smiled.
"Hmmm.....that's odd." I said aloud.I knew I wasn't alone in my room at the moment. The culprits side kick still resided in the confined area known as my room. I started to slowly step around his room. Around the desktop that held my laptop that he rarely used."How did my clock....suddenly get in the closet?"
I peeked under the chair that sat in front of my T.v that held his plasma screen 32 inch and Xbox that was always heated due to the fact that I barely turned it off."Nope. Not under here?"He asked disbelief."Alright. You've gotten better haven't you?"I heard a soft little snicker. I rolled my eyes. Still cant keep quiet huh? I thought to myself. I turned around dramatically."What was that?" I asked. I waited counting to ten to myself."I thought I heard something....did it come from over h-I got YOU!" I exclaimed as my little sister attempted to make a run for it. I picked her up having her burst into a giggling fit that I enjoyed knowing they weren't being to loud in the house that now only occupied his sister and mother. I could faintly smell bacon so I knew my mother was awake.
I slammed her little body on my messy bed tickling her."You want to wake me up huh?Ill make you regret it!"
"No! I'M sorry! Mommy!"She managed between her little fits of laughter.I stopped after a while and picked her up."What did you want? Stacey?"
Her round brown eyes held mine. She started rambling going all over the place. I didn't even try to keep up. I simply sat her down and nodded along to her stories grabbing my clothes so I could shower.
At some point I grabbed my controller and decided to play a few rounds of gears of war while pretending to listen to her. I didn't even realize when she left. I was doing pretty good on the game. I used the chainsaw often only because I found it enjoyable.
A sudden stab of pain had me dropping my controller. My eyes quickly watched the familiar object that rested on my bare stomach. I grabbed the sizzling piece of bacon looking to my door where my mother stood with a glistening spatula in her hand. She smiled a bit when my eyes finally managed to turn in her direction.
"Breakfast is ready."She turned without another word.
I sighed but smiled and ate the sizzling bacon ignoring the stabs of pain as I chewed and worst of all swallowed(Thats whats she said). I hurried to shower so I could eat. After I showered I made sure to pay attention to my eyes. That was m best feature or at least thats what the girls thought. The hazel always seemed common to me but mysterious to others. I didn't see why though.
My brown hair seemed to be growing faster and faster. It now hung at my shoulder and I sighed. I knew I needed to get it trimmed but that would mean a month or so I would have to get another trim. I simply wanted to cut it shorter. The fact that summer was here. I winked briefly at myself and checked on my status far as strength went. I knew he couldn't flat out kill someone but I also knew I could handle myself and a couple other if he had to.
