Humans perspective.
Officer Sanders.
Leo Sanders.
I sat in my car thinking about the few hours that remained until my job was done. I would be able to go home and enjoy.....loneliness.
Its not as if I had anyone waiting for me at home. I just wanted to be there rather then here watching people drive pass and not fully stop at the stop sign. It was almost ridiculous how almost everyone had not followed that rule. Another day another dollar.
I sighed."Yup.J ust another dollar."I sipped my coffee.
Later that day.
I finally clocked out and headed for my car when I heard shouting.I walked back in trying to get the 411.
"Someone just called about a girl flyng and bleeding from her mouth. She was dragging a body behind her.We need to head there now."
What the hell.Even though I had already clocked out.I jumped in the car with my ex partner. He turned the sirens on and drove fast.I had my hand on my gun looking towards the sky wondering what the hell was going on.He stopped driving abruptly.I looked at him but realized why he had stopped. The girl looked terrible.Almost like the exorcist. She stumbled in the middle of the road and fell.I hopped out hand on my gun."Put your arms behind your head."
I steadily made my way to her until she stood and somehow her feet lifted off the ground.I squeezed immediately shooting her once only for her to fall immediately to the ground.I was shouting orders around me.Yes I am a rookie.
Yes I did get chewed out for being the one to handle the situation.
No I dont care.
They rushed the thing to the hospital and I sat in the car just incase she had woken up.The way they handled her in the ambulance made it clear that she wouldnt be waking up for quite some time.
That didnt make me feel any better.
At the hospital they wanted me to find out about her so I could register her for admission but I found nothing on her.Even when I got samples of her finger print I got nothing.I was tied until she woke up and told me her birthday.I went to work and instead of going home I checked on the girl. After she was cleaned up she looked a lot better.I wondered what the hell we had seen and how she started flying randomly.
Something was really going on with this little girl and finding out what was absolutely important.
Saturday afternoon I stayed for the whole day having nothing else to do.I watched her vitals confused by the readings.
They werent normal at all.I stood and looked out the window then went to the bathroom sighing.Once I returned to the the room she had been sitting up.I froze for a second debating what I should do.I then decided to speak to her when suddenly her body lifted into the air.The thin sheet that covered her slid from her body revealing the flimsy little hospital gown.As if that werent shocking enough a strange light surrounded her and I could have sworn I saw a women touch the sheets on the bed before her body slowly descended again. The sheet lifted from the floor and onto her body again. She then sat up looking frantically around. The beeping stayed the same easy pace regardless of all of that.I blinked multiple times.
Drugs.We must drug her.Sedate her.
Yes.
"Excuse me mister?"
I stopped my escape to look at her.She tilted her head to the side the way children and puppies do.I blinked.
