It's the day of mom and dad's date night . Sky helps mom do her hair and makeup while me, wishing I was sleeping, went to get the dress we had bought for her from the mall earlier before she got here.

Ash and dad were in mom's and dad's room, they made us take mom to our room to get dressed. I really hope Ash is doing well .

"Aaaand done!" sky announces triumphantly as she swipes the brush along mom's left cheek before stepping aside, revealing the mirror which has led lights placed around it ,giving mom a full doze of her reflection .

Gasp. A gasp is what left her mouth when she came to her reflection face to face. She smiled warmly her eyes almost watering.

"Uh, be sure not to smudge your eye makeup" Sky brings her out of her thoughts .

"Damn mom you look ...fire" I walked up to her To zip up the zipper of the dress which hugged her every curve and complimenting her dark skin.

Gorgeous.

Oh you aren't wrong inner voice.

Still admiring herself in the mirror, Ash knocks lightly on my door grabbing our attentions as we bring our eyes to a mini dad standing wide eyed by the door frame.

"Mommy, y-you look...wow" he shook his head , making us chuckle slightly seeing Ash running out of words to describe mom's beauty and did he just call her 'mommy'?

"Uhm okay before y'all made me go dumb, dad sent me here to see if you're ready, you have five minutes left" and with that he grins and runs out of my room.

I narrow my eyes and before excusing myself to follow Ash . I needed to see if dad was ready to go. To my greatest surprise he looked stunning and I loved that 5th Avenue cologne he's got on. Dad has his hair neatly brushed creating a lot of neat waves I can imagine how long he had on a durag. His suit set fitting him perfectly like it was made for him. And he's shoes? Fire!

In his has he had a little box of flowers , I'm guessing a corsage . Reliving prom!

By the time I was done checking out yeah that's right my dad and complimenting his looks and giving Ash a high five for good works making him smirk and dust off invisible dirt off his shirt .

Mom made her way down the steps carefully being she had on a pair of high heel sandals.

Dumbfounded. That's dad's state right now. We Ash, Sky and I watch as dad was in awe looking at his beautiful wife — ex wife — well not for long hopefully. Dad looked like he was about to cry.

Dad (Morgan Blue)'s pov

There I was unable to hold my grin as Jazz stared at me in awe taking in how nicely I cleaned up . I was about to thank her for her silent compliment but then a flash of light caught my attention. It looked like a mirror reflecting light but to my surprise it was a dress with sequins all over in.

Damn. I said inwardly as I saw the woman I fell in love with since college days and is still in love with . I searched for the words to say but I was speechless and soon became breathless.

Ouch!

I felt a not so gentle hit on my arm and I knew it was from Jazz my ever so violent angel.
Snapping out of my thoughts. I let out a breath I realised I was holding .

"Wow" I managed to say. Earning a few giggles from my kids , including Christina.

"You look great , Morg" Christina said walking towards me, flashing that billion dollar smile she only gave me.

All I did was take her hand and place a gently soft kiss on it. That would have been her lips but I don't want to put pressure on her. Hopefully I'll earn a kiss tonight.

"Okay okay can we get this over with?" sky ruins the moment and soon gets shoved in the side by Jazz again.

I take her hand in mine and began to walk towards the front door when Ash stops us . "Waaaaiiit!" He yelled .

I'm guessing he needed pictures of us together again , just in case I fail to with her back tonight . Hope I don't fuck this up.
