anastasia's pov
today i am going to move into my dorm for highschool. i go to a highschool like zoey 101. my parents and i are packing up my moms white tahoe with all my toiletries and some furniture i wanted to bring.
we arrived at the school and started to unpack. it was crazy, many families trying to wheel in their kids furniture.
i went inside the main office to get my dorm key, and to find out who my roommate is. they give me my dorm key and i ask "who's my roommate?"
the lady looks up at me and says "sam hurley." i said " i am rooming with a boy? i thought that was against the rules."
"the rules changed, and the rooming chart got mixed up."
i said "oh okay." and walked back out to the car.
i don't think i've ever met sam before. i mean the campus is insanely huge, so it's possible.
my parents and i finally just finished putting in all my furniture and making the last final touches. the room is very big so i had plenty of room for my queen sized bed.
i got the right side of the room and sam has the other. he has yet to show up. but anyways the rooms are very nice. my room is on the very top for, so we get the ultimate balcony.
i can see the ocean from here too.
my parents leave and say their goodbyes . it's a 8 hour drive back to arizona . this school is located in the rich part of califronia. orange county.
i was laying in bed with my blankets over me, watching netflix on my macbook, when i guess sam walks in with his parents.
i see them turn on the lights and turn and look at me. i smile at them and i earn a smile back . i stand up and go up to sam and shake his hand as well as his parents .
i start explaining about how the rooming charts got mixed up and everybody is rooming with the opposite gender.
i lay back down and put my airpods back in as i watch my movie. every couple of minutes i would look up and laugh at sam and his parents failing at building his desk.
finally sam's parents leave. and sam says "hey."
i said "hi."
soon i hear someone knocking on our door. sam gets up to go get it and i hear a girl squeal and hug sam. they kiss and hug . then she comes in and says "who is that?"
i said "i'm anastasia. sam and i have to be roommates."
she looks at me with the death stare and says "oh."
they go and cuddle in sam's bed for a while till she gets up and they kiss goodbye.
after she left, i ask sam "girlfriend?"
sam goes "yup."
then we start having a conversation and start to get to know each-other. surprisingly sam and i have lots in common.

it's been like a week since school has started and it has been great. sam and i are best friends. we have been telling each-other everything. he tells me all the tea between him and his girlfriend sofia.
i go to unlock the door to our dorm with my key and sam's not here yet. yay. i don't have to go change in the bathrooms.
i quickly change into my champion sweat pants and my black bralette. he won't mind if i wear that, we're besties.
anyways. i met a new boy today. his name is josh. he is very cute. he has the good haircut where the sides are short but the top is curly.
i invited him over to my dorm to watch a movie. someone knocked on the door, so i go get it and was greeted by josh. god is he cute.
we soon jump in my bed and cuddle and watch "the hot chick" (funniest movie ever)
sam comes in right as me and josh were kissing. i greet sam and say hi . then i go back to resting my head on josh's chest.
the movie ended and it was a friday, so josh whispered in my ear, "i'm sleeping over okay baby?"
i reply with "mhm." then pass out again.
i heard josh grab my laptop and shut it. then place it on my table. then i hear sam say "that's not where she puts it."
josh replies with "chill."
then josh and me sleep peacefully while i spoon josh.

i wake up with josh's arm wrapped around my waist. we both were laying on our sides facing each-other. i look around and rub my eyes.
i see sam sitting on his bed on his phone. he notices my head and then lowers his phone. he lip syncs and says "look at your phone." and points to my phone. i reach over grabbing my phone not trying to wake josh.
i have imessages from sam :
sam : he's such a douche, why do u like him
sam : i'm getting a bad vibe from him
anastasia: why?
i don't know why sam's freaking out . then sam sent me a text that said that him and his girlfriend broke up. i looked at him sadly and he smiled.
i passed out again after i layed down.
