After his conversation with Hsin Yi, Jidwi couldn't help the smile that overcame his face as he walked to his room where his fellow roommates were.

"What's gotten you so happy all of a sudden," Sooho asks noticing the smile his friend had

"Nothing in particular" Jidwi answers dropping his smile and going back to his blank face

"And now its gone, wonderful. Is it perhaps the conversation you had with the princess that had you all smiling all of a sudden?" Yeowol says staring off into nothing while twirling his hair with his fingers.

The other Hwarang stop what they were doing and stared at him. Yeowol then looks at them.
"Wae? You haven't seen someone as beautiful as me?" He says rolling his eyes at the attention.

They rolled their eyes and started arguing again before Jidwi got annoyed and shut them up, lying down to sleep with the other reluctantly doing the same.

Hsin Yi sat in front of her mirror, her mask thrown across the room as she traced her hand over the scar that was the sole reason that she hid her face. Her face contorted into anger as she reminisce the time she had gotten it.

"Eomma! Look" a young Hsin Yi yells as she runs in her mother's room, only to find her mother with another man. More specifically her father's brother.

"E-Eomma, what...?!" young Hsin Yi says not knowing what to say as she witness the scene in front of her.

Her mother looks at her in annoyance,
"What do you want you little brat?!" She yells as she stands up and starts walking angrily towards young Hsin Yi, who starts walking backwards in fear.

Her mother smirks at her trembling daughter and takes a small blade from the table beside her and holds the arm of the small girl.

"My what a pretty face you have, no wonder no one acknowledges me anymore!" she yells angrily before a sadistic grin came on her face.

"Let's destroy it shall we" she continues before the young girl was thrown to the other side of the room where her uncle was, who started beating her up until she was barely conscious. Her mother then walked over and started tracing the blade on the girl's arm who cried and tried to get up, but her hands were being held down by her uncle. As blood started oozing out of her wounds, her mother took the blade and pressed it onto the corner of her lips and ended it in the middle of her cheek.

"Don't tell anyone about what happened here and what you saw, or we'll do something worse." Her mother stated before her vision became black.

"Don't worry Mother, I haven't told anyone..yet" Hsin Yi smirks before going to bed herself

In the morning, the Hwarangs started practicing for the festival. Hsin Yi was observing them from the entrance of Hwarang House, a small smile on her face. She then turned to look for her brother who she has yet to encounter after they had parted ways, him to the castle and her to the Hwarangs.

Leaving the Hwarangs to their training, Hsin Yi decided to go to the village to re-explore her old home. Getting stares and whispers from the local people did not faze her as she continued looking through the different stalls that were lined throughout the town.

"I was wondering when I will be able see you again" a voice says followed by a chuckle, she rolls her eyes before she turns around to face the owner of the voice.

"Well brother, I was actually thinking of the opposite" she joked as she spot a young child looking around frantically with tears in his eyes.

Hongwu went to reply when he noticed that he had lost his sister when he was admiring the jewelry she was previously looking at. He turned to look for her when he saw she was talking to a small boy, he sighs before following after his younger sibling.

"Are you alright little man?" Hsin Yi asks as the boy scoot back from her making her frown.

"Don't worry I won't hurt you" she continues as she kneels down to his height.

The little boy wiped his eyes before talking,
"I can't find my appa" he says before starting to cry again.

Hsin Yi reaches over to wipe his cheeks before standing up and looking around.
"I'll help you find your appa...?"

The boy looks up at her,
"My name's Dongyul"

Hsin Yi smiles before spotting a man looking around in a frantic state.

She went to the man with Dongyul's small hands gripping hers.

"Excuse me, are yo-" she was cut off by Dongyul running to the man and crying out. "Appa!"

The man turned and saw the small boy running to him and a smile lit up his face.

Hsin Yi smiled sadly at them, remembering her deceased father.
Before she knew it, tears were falling down her cheeks. Quickly wiping them away before her brother could see she turned back around to see her brother with his arms crossed that made her giggle.

"You and Hui look so alike when you're annoyed" she says before she started walking to the direction of Hwarang House, her brother in tow.

"As I was saying before you left me" Hongwu starts while glaring at the nonchalant expression of Hsin Yi. "I will be returning to our kingdom to discuss the sudden increase of bandits surrounding China. And you will be staying here until you are needed back home"

Hsin Yi nodded at this before a hand was put on her shoulder,
"The Queen is cunning and sly, please don't fall for anything she tells you. And send letters will you, we can't lose you as well..." the two siblings simply stayed quiet after that, refusing to acknowledge the meaning of the words.
