Strange Magic (Peter Parker x reader)

Bad day

How could this day get any worse Y/n thought. Peter told Ned her secret and now she's late for class. She walked in and Ms. Morgan glared at her.
"Why were you late." She said sounding like she would kill Y/n if she could.
"I was in the bathroom." Y/n lied.
"Why?" Ms. Morgan replied getting angrily.
Y/n walked closer to her and whispered in ear.
"I'm on my period." She lied.
Ms. Morgan's face went red.
"Just take a seat." She said and continued showing the class how to do something Y/n walked away trying not to laugh.
"She sat down next to Mj and listened to Ms. Morgan rant then she gave out assignments. The assignment was to make a slideshow about Romeo and Juliet.
"Earth to Y/n?" Mj said noticing Y/n was staring into space not listening to Ms.Morgan explain the project further.
"Oh sorry." Y/n replied she had been thinking about how her and her dad were going to stop Alleneus and for some reason she couldn't stop thinking about Peter.
"I know you have some big dark mind blowing secret I just don't care enough to figure it out." Mj said casually and started writing things down for the project.
"Whatever." Y/n replied and started making a slideshow.

"Thank god Ms.Morgans class is over." Y/n said as the two girls walked down the hall to lunch. When they got to the cafeteria they found Peter and Ned sitting across from each other at their usual table. When Ned saw Y/n he got the hugest grin on his face. Y/n glared at him annoyed and he stopped. Y/n sat next to Peter since Mj had already taken a seat next to Ned.
"So anything life changing happen to anyone lately?" Mj asked. Y/n and Peter looked at each other than shook their head no.
"Really no one?" Mj asked disappointed.
"Oh hey anyone see that video of spiderman beating up some guy with weird fireballs?" Ned asked completely unaware that was Y/n causing Y/n to choke on her bagel and Peter to spit out his drink on Ned.
"Uh I mean really what happened?" Peter asked trying to act casual as Y/n started coughing.
Good job Parker. She thought. It's only the second week of school. We're gonna die

"Hey Y/n!" Peter said grabbing her arm as she left the school.
"I'm really sorry about everything that happened today I didn't mean to-"
"It's fine Peter." She said with a smile.
"You sure?"
"Yes Peter I'm sure." She said. "Ok I got to go help my dad, you probably need to go help all of New York so I'll see you tomorrow." She said and waved goodbye.
Yep I defiantly like her, Peter thought and went in the opposite direction to his house. He looked back at the school to see a poster.
He went up to get a better look at it. It said:
HALLOWEEN COSTUME PARTY OCTOBER 21ST!
AT MIDTOWN HIGH SCHOOL!
FROM 6-9PM!
Should I ask her out, he thought.
"Why is my life like this." He said and continued going home.
