Y/n walked through the door of her home and went to the library where her father and Wong were. They had been there for the past few days trying to figure out ways to stop Alleneus.
"Hi dad." Y/n said as she sat criss cross on the table took out her phone. She started swiping through social media when she stumbled across the video of her and Peter er "spiderman" fighting. Oh god I look like a guy She realized. She was wearing her hood at the time so it caused a shadow effect over her face and her hair was hidden in the hood.
Wong walked by with pile of books humming hit me baby one more time.
"Oh my god Wong have you evolved from Beyoncé to Britany Spears?" Y/n asked shocked.
"I would never betray Beyoncé. I just heard this song on the radio." He said and walked to another part of the library. Y/n got bored and looked at the book her father was reading. As soon as she looked at he snapped it shut.
"Don't you have homework?" He asked sternly.
"Ugh fine keep your secrets she said and teleported to her room.

Y/n laid down on her braid and stared at the ceiling. She took out her phone and changed peters contact from Peter to bug boy. She refused to do her homework like the responsible teen she was and started watching YouTube. She fell asleep and woke when her phone started vibrating.
It was Peter wanting wanting to FaceTime.
She reluctantly hit the accept button. He was wearing his Spiderman costume and looked to be swinging around the city.
"Hi. Sorry did I wake you?" He asked.
"Yeah but I probably needEd someone to wake me up I still haven't done my homework." she said as she pulled her backpack onto her bed.
"Wow way to show how responsible you are." He said.
"I try." She replied sarcastically and started a math equation.
"So why'd you call me?" She asked.
"I was bored and I know Mj and Ned are busy so I decided to bother you." He said and sat down on the ledge of a building.
"Glad I can be a last resort." She said as a joke but Peter being Peter took it seriously and started freaking out.
"That's not what I meant." He said his voice getting higher.
"Geez Peter do you know what a joke is?" She asked and couldn't help but laugh.
"Ha ha." He said sounded embarrassed but she couldn't really tell because of his mask.
"Where are you?" She asked putting down her pencil and math homework.
"Uh *random address that I'm too lazy to make up* why?" He asked.
Y/n put on her sling ring and teleported to the address right next to Peter making him jump and almost fall off the ledge.
"So I can talk to you face to face." She said smirking.
"Thanks for the heart attack." He said.
"Want to get something to eat? I'll buy." She said.
"How can I say no to free food." He said standing up.
"Uh I'll be right back I'm gonna change out of my suit." He said and swung somewhere into the city.
'He's so cute' Y/n 'ugh why. Why do I have to have a crush on someone who I know will never like me.' She thought. She pulled out her phone and started playing a random game on it.
Peter eventually came back in his normal clothes and a a backpack slung across his shoulder.
"Ok let's go before someone yells at us for being up here." He said as Y/n walked through the door.
"Where do want to go?" She asked as they walked down the stairs.
"Pizza?" He asked.
"Heck yes." She said loudly. Peter smiled. 'She's so cute.' He thought.

Y/n and Peter waited for their pizza. Peter couldn't stop his thoughts.
'Is this a date?'
'If it is shouldn't I be paying for it?'
'Should I ask to the Halloween dance?'
'Am I bothering her?'
The pizza finally came and distracted Peter from his thoughts.
"You guys look really cute together by the way." The waitress said before she walked off causing both to blush. They silently ate the pizza and
Y/n paid for it.
As they walked out Peter finally got the courage to talk to her.
"Hey um do you maybe want to hang out some other time? With me?" He asked nervously.
"Like a date?" She asked.
"Uh yeah. But it's totally fine if you don't want to I won't get mad or start crying or anything-" he started but she cut him off "Yeah I would like that." She replied. "I better go home it's getting late and my dad is probably gonna flip if I'm not in my room doing homework." She said.
"Yeah ok see you school." He said and waived as she made a portal and went home.
He quickly ran home and burst through the door.
"May help." He said breathlessly.
"What's wrong?" She asked concerned.
"I have a date."
