Chapter 7: Invasion

Narrator's P.O.V

Krystal awoke to find that she was the only one in the room. The others, Akira and Dante weren't present. They must've gotten up early. Krystal thought to herself. After completing her morning routine, Krystal left to see what was happening. Akira and Dante tried their best to make breakfast. It tasted normal.

Dante: So, Krystal. Why did you wake up so late?

Krystal: I was training last night. I couldn't sleep to be honest.

Akira: I can relate... Are you okay?

Krystal: Yeah, I'm fine. I feel a little better.

Akira: That's good. "Akira takes another bite out of his pancakes. Krystal sighs and says.

Krystal: What about you two?

Dante: I slept fine, I guess. "Krystal turns to Akira. Averting his gaze, Akira doesn't say a word. Krystal grew worried, but suppresses it.

After a short while. Dante left to go sparr with Oscar. Akira brought the fact at how close the two are getting. Krystal was happy about it. They both taught them the basics, but Dante just couldn't get it right.

Akira: Don't feel bad, Dante. Just keep trying.

Dante: I'll try... it's just hard.

Krystal: It doesn't take a snap for you to learn a move. Both of you guys got a a lot before you'll actually be good at it, but you'll get there. I know you will.

Dante nods and both Oscar and him get back to sparring. Akira and Krystal watch from the sidelines. A though came to Akira's mind. He turns to Krystal whose eyes were on the two teenagers. Akira turns away. Saying.

Akira: Remember what Levi said he would do? If he would've to graduated from Beacon?

Krystal: To become a teacher of his own little school. "Krystal looks at Akira with a smile on her face. "I remember.

Akira: I wonder.... if you wou-

Krystal: Of course. I want too. If I want to make his dream a reality, I'll make a school and become a teacher just for him. And Dante.

Akira: I'll be there. And I'm sure Rain will to.

Krystal: I hope so. I miss her so much.

Akira: Me too. "Akira smiles upon recalling memories. However, it disappears. When a thought came to his head. "Do you think she knows?

Krystal: What?

Akira's eyes were covered by his hair. Akira said words that would be stuck in Krystal's head as well. Without looking at her Akira says.

Akira: That he's gone?

Krystal's P.O.V

I made it to the room Qrow called me to. I didn't know what he wanted, but it sounded important. Once I opened the door I saw him taking a sip of his flask. I flashed a small smile.
