Chapter 5: Time of Brothers

Narrator's P.O.V

Dante left Akira and Elec as Jaune wanted to take a turn. Bored Dante decides to train for a bit and goes to the training room the house came with. Dante pulls out his two pistols and shifted them into swords. Krystal taught him her style of fighting. At a distance, you shoot and up close you use both swords. Dante kept that in mind every time he would train. Dante made sure no one was looking and placed his hands together. Closing his eyes, Dante begin to concentrate. A clone was summoned. When Dante opened his eyes, standing in front of him was Levi. Long white hair and a black coat. It looks down at Dante as he smiles.

Dante: Hey. We've haven't talked in a while. Well, me and the others are fine. We made it to Mistral so... that's something. "Dante averted his gaze. The clone stood silently just staring at him. "*sighs* Krystal's still hurt about your passing. Burning the scarf you gave her. I didn't realize that she did burn it. If I did, I would've stopped her. Good thing, she's starting to smile once again. "Dante looks at the clone with a happy expression. "I'm thankful that you talked me out of my troubled ways. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be here. So thank you, Levi.

Dante: Please, say something. "It stares at Dante. Slowly it became transparent as Dante's time was up and the clone slowly began to disappear. "D...don't worry, Levi. I'll avenge you. "It vanished. Dante wiped a tear away from his eye and turns his swords back into pistols before holstering them. Done with his training. Dante made his way back up stares. Dante heard footsteps and looks to see Oscar.

Oscar: Hey.

Dante: Hey.

Oscar: Were you done training just now?

Dante: Yeah. Why.

Oscar: Krystal said that they began cooking dinner. "Dante nods and walks past Oscar, but he grabs his arm. Dante turns to Oscar with confusion. "Can I talk to you for a minute.

Dante: Sure, what's up?

Dante: You've never been outside your farm before?

Oscar: Yeah. There's not much on my mind until now. I would just do some work all day and occasionally fight Grimm, but small ones. I wanted to talk to you cause your like a year older than me, but you've been with them for a while now. How can you handle all of this?

Dante: What do you mean?

Oscar: It's just... I'm scared. I've never been involved in something this big before. Dante, how can you handle it? This huge weight on your shoulders? "Oscar looks to the ground as his hair began to cover his eyes. "I'm more scared than I've ever been in my life. I knew I always wanted to be more than a farmhand, but this? Who would ask for this?

Dante: It's not what you ask for. It's what you chose for, but you're right. I didn't ask for this either.

Oscar: I didn't choose this. "He looks at Dante with small tears in his eyes. Dante got closer and placed his hand on his shoulders. "We're kids. We don't know any better.

Dante: I know. I'm a little different from you. I've had a rough start. I guess you'd call me a villain who changed. I held up stores. Force to beat people and I was stupid. Leaving my parents to have a 'better life.' Who knew I'd come this. Someone changed my opinion on life. Made me who I am now. "Dante sat next to Oscar. "But we have a new purpose. It may not be what we expected and what we may not handle, but we will get use to it. "Oscar looks at Dante. "I can see in your eyes. You have people you don't want to lose.
